Razali’s ambitions and the sensational rumors about WithU at the end. The company denies!

Razali_withU

The energy sponsor loses 30% of its customers in a single day. Will it be able to pay?

Razlan Razali, founder of the RNF team (this is the title he prefers to be attributed to him), said he was aiming for a sponsorship budget of around 11-13 million euros to manage the two Yamahas entrusted to Binder and Dovizioso.
Every aspiration is legitimate even if, looking at the sponsor panel, one wonders how the money is counted and how the missing gap can be filled.
Let’s analyze the sponsors on the panel.

RNF Sponsors
RNF Sponsors

Yamaha: does not offer money but takes care of the bikes and the remuneration of the riders.
Green Power: produces generators and is a small sticker on the frames.
GPNFTS: produces digital tokens and also occupies a small space.
Telcowin: although the name suggests a telecommunications company, it is a small consulting agency with local action.
Considering that the RNF sticker is that of the same team, the remaining stickers are those of technical partners and suppliers such as Barracuda, WRS, Ixon, KYT,  Akrapovic, and Beta brands already known to motorcyclists.
Added to these there are companies that are certainly not big spenders: a coffee company from Modena (Giacomelli) which can be found in all hospitality areas, an insurance company, Lange Gruppe, which probably provides policies to drivers and teams.
Then there are RCB, which makes accessories for scooters and Lotus, which makes kitchen furnitures. Certainly reputable contributors but equally certainly not millionaires.

In fact, one wonders how much money these “partners” really bring if WithU, which is the main sponsor and the biggest name in the hull, offers “only” 3 million to be in the foreground.
Is 13 million euros really a plausible target?
Does this budget include the 5 million passed by IRTA for motorcycle coverage?
If this were not the case, the matter would tend towards the dream.
And again: are the rumors  that Razali has applied for a bank loan to carry out the first tests because none of these sponsorships has yet been transformed into a bank transfer to support the activities on the track, somehow true?

Last question: why a private team, which does not pay either the bikes or the riders and which has already found a main sponsor, feels the need for ambitious proclamations, even a week before the presentation and a few days before the first tests?
Isn’t it a statement dictated by the need to show undecided or renounced investors that his project is a nice train to jump on in any case and that the noisy difficulties are not real?

In short, doubts remain and would already be sufficient if the “commercial news” did not report a rumor that can be summarized in three heavy words

¹WithU ²in ³trouble

Concerns continue to reach this site through direct reports from customers and professionals but can also be found on official channels, on consumer pages and in the mailbox of a large number of customers who have received a communication informing them of the termination of their energy supply contract by Europe Energy SpA (WithU) due to the interruption of energy supply by Terna (National Operator) to Zenergia which in turn supplies Europe Energy and WithU, which no longer supplying energy cannot collect money from around 23,000 customers from one day to the ‘other, to be precise starting  December 21, 2021.

All the customers involved are notified of their passage, ex officio to the national manager and are advised not to make payments to WithU.
The letter arrived in the homes of many Italians, you can see it here.

In summary, barring misinterpretations, this means that the Yamaha sponsor RNF has lost at least 25% of its customers even if some say that the percentage is much higher.

There is no company in the world, not even CocaCola or Google, that can afford a 25% cut of its customers without an internal earthquake.

And this happens at the worst historicaal moment of the tariff system which is based on costs per cubic meter under which operators like WithU are not competitive.

Those who signed a contract with this operator, in fact, paid 1.24euros per cubic meter for gas while the costs offered by the national operator are less than 60 cents. Less than half.
It is obvious that for operators like WithU (dozens of similar companies have already gone bankrupt) there are no longer the commercial levers to recover lost customers and perhaps not even  keeping those who are left who are, mathematically, on the run.
Nobody would be remain with a supplier who sells  on the free market, energy at double the price of the protected market.
Up to here it would be a one-way article in which doubts are exposed which, despite the documentation, would still be based on rumors without hearing the other party involved.

For this Misterhelmet turned to WithU and was later contacted by telephone by the founder and president Matteo Ballarin, in person.
“You are partially right on this issue as it is true that one of our suppliers, not us, had the dispatching contract closed and therefore about a quarter of our customers, 20 thousand out of about 85 thousand we have, have returned to a more protected market. All these customers should have received a letter from us in which we inform them that we are taking them back and we have deliberately favored this protection market because in December the prices of that market were lower than the free market, so when the problem arose we I thought that customers could have passed on to the market for greater protection and then returned to the free market when prices would have dropped. Users should have all received this communication (we could not find this – ed -).
I would like to underline a very important point, namely that our contract has not been closed but that of one of our suppliers as written in the letter sent by the Single Buyer. Authority (Acquirente Unico).
Many are writing that we changed their supplier without saying anything but it is not true, indeed we got very angry. “

Ballarin continues reassuring the solidity of WithU … and telling us that they have almost gladly lost 25% of customers.
“Misinterpreted, it could seem a sign of crisis of a company that has closed a dispatching contract and has lost customers. This is not what happened. Our company is one of those that are doing better in a very difficult time for the company. free market … “

Not problems but opportunities.
According to Ballarin, there are neither business problems nor sponsorship problems.

“The day of the presentation of the team (next Monday – ed -) will be an opportunity to explain a series of corporate aspects with an increase in the strength of the WithU brand. We are setting up insurance services, telemedicine, etc. Sponsorship is important but it is a minority part of all the investment we are making on the whole WithU project. Guaranteeing sponsorship is the least of the problems, so much so that we have also extended it to other sports such as volleyball and basketball in Verona. ” (WithU also sponsors Monza Calcio in Serie B – ed).

Ballarin is confident and is not afraid to tackle the issue.
“I’m not afraid to talk about it. I work in a market with powerful competitors and so I take every opportunity I have to explain who we are, it’s not a problem. We are always here.”

The responsiveness and friendliness of WithU’s top management are beyond expectations and certainly reassuring, but nothing provides more certainty than time, so we just have to wait.
The hardest part is finding a closure for this piece, hoping that it matches with the happy ending of a story that seems to be made up of problems while it is instead made up, they explain, of opportunities.
We all want to see Dovizioso and Binder’s Yamaha WithUs on TV, paying for electricity at the lowest possible price.

Le ambizioni di Razali e i rumors clamorosi su WithU in chiusura. L’azienda smentisce!

Razali_withU

¹WithU ²in ³difficoltà

Stiamo mettendo in piedi servizi assicurativi, telemedicina, etc.

VR46 confirms but Aramco denies. Who is lying? Nieto announces. Uccio fired?

aramco vr46

Misano was not the expected Italian happy ending for the VR46 package, either directly or indirectly.
Valentino Rossi started last and finished in the top ten. All in all, an acceptable result given the season, but certainly not one of those expected until recently when it came to a decent home farewell to his longtime career.
Bad also Bagnaia, considered as the flag of the Academy, on the ground to resist a Marquez who won the race in the home of others on a circuit that by conformation should have said no.
It did not go well even for the rest of the Valentno boys who did not shine in either Moto2 or Moto3, where a former VR46, Dennis Foggia, won his race.
The results of Morbidelli, 14th and Marini 9th and humiliated by his teammate Bastianini, which feeds controversy over the bikes that will be assigned to the two in 2022 (Marini the factory and Bastianini an old bike), close the weekend, but it is not over yet.

The thing that should worry, even if hardly anyone talks about it, is the failure to announce the sponsor of Valentino’s MotoGP team, on which a dangerous silence has fallen for months.

It is not clear why it was a non-organizational or financial figure who broke it, but a technician, a figure who until now had never expressed himself on issues of this type, or perhaps this is a signal.

There are some certainties in the team: The riders will be Marini and Bezzecchi, while the historical employees of VR (Munoz, Flamigni, Gavira) are confirmed in their technical roles.
Who seems to be out of authority is Uccio Salucci who, apparently, will remain in the role most suited to him of Valentino’s Bottle & Towel Manager even in car racing. An accompanying role that, plausibly, prevents him from pursuing commercial agreements.
The most malicious will have thought that all this is due to the mess put up in recent months but Nieto’s tranquility seems to deny the rumors about the team that Valentino does not care about (he admitted this by declaring that the sponsorship problems do not concern him).

According to Pablo Nieto, in fact, the choice not to give news would be linked to the desire to better manage the last Italian VR race and otherwise everything would be fine with Aramco, despite the slowness of the evolution of the matter.

“As you know, we have made this deal with Aramco in the past. Things are going very, very slowly, but they are on the right track.”

And still:

“This is the most important thing and, at the moment, the thing I can tell you is that we are working on it. There are some delays, but we are on the right track and we are still working on it.”

So after months the oil sponsor reappears, despite the official and repeated denials of its press office (Brunswick has repeatedly written to this website as well) and of its CEO who has spoken in first person publicly.

It is bad to use the term “liar” but someone is not telling the truth, because if things were to be as the Spaniard says, it would mean that Aramco has been denying something for which he was negotiating for months. Aramco has not released “no comment” but has categorically denied any past and present negotiations with VR46.
If, on the other hand, things were as described by Aramco, it would be someone from VR46 who made the mental films.

The surprising thing, however, is not so much pulling in a sponsor who has always denied it, but deliberately choosing to ignore the fact that for 6 months and for about 4,000 published articles, we have put up with the ridiculous intentions of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his advisor Architect (later revealed to be non-architect) Marco Bernardini, and the elusive Tanal Entertainment Sport and Media.
The triptych became the protagonist of Press releases for events that never happened (Fantastic Trophy), never created situations (construction of motorcycles), non-existent company headquarters (photoshopped buildings), never registered trademarks, and unreal press conference, all without concludeing anything.
We can report here the links of everything that has been declared but things do not change because nothing has ever really happened as it is a hoax carried on for months.

From the doors of the Prince’s residence that had to be opened to the press, to the races in the desert, to electric motorcycles, up to the repeated deadlines that were not met, everything was simply an invention.

The 90 million for the 5 years did not arrive, but not even the 18 million for the next season.
In April-May, the clarifications on the VR46 MotoGP team seemed imminent.
Aramco had even disappeared from journalistic reasoning, replaced by Tanal who still appears on Marini’s Moto2 and MotoGP along with other NON-EXISTING companies such as brands, offices and activities, while now it seems normal that the he news arrives at the end of the season. Yet another deadline.

And none of the insiders dare to ask anything about something that has been talked about for months, that is, and we repeat it, Tanal, the Prince, a councilor who was everywhere, and dozens of projects that turned out to be bogus.
A stage made up of liars, sleepy amateurs, incompetent, hustlers and cowards who do not have the courage to ask a question despite their professional ethics should force it on them.

Then we will do it: Tanal, the Prince and the Councilor, what happened to them?
And who lies between Aramco who says they are not involved and VR46 who instead says that everything is okay with the oil giant?

Fans who watch this show, who pay to watch MotoGP on TV, who click on sites or buy magazines, can draw their own conclusions about the people they give their money to.

VR46 conferma ma Aramco smentisce. Chi mente? Parla Nieto. Uccio silurato?

aramco vr46

WithU: money on loan to sponsor Yamaha, Monza football and Bergamo Basket?

WithU and RNF

Eventually, in the resource war, the razali-Yamaha package made it first and won it- taking the WithU badge.
The energy company, which until last year had distributed its support on more fairings and more riders, well advised, has chosen to go all in as main sponsor on a team that is not of the highest level but still with high visibility.
To pay the price VR46, in contention and considered by many to have an advantage for the sponsorship, but which with its unstable situation in terms of structure, on the one hand it was not attractive for WithU and on the other, lacking a main sponsor, is still struggling with the completion of its programs.

For the more curious and analytical, however, perhaps it is useful to understand WithU’s financial background and how to access the resources it uses to sponsor its activities which are many and not only concern MotoGP but also Football (Monza), Basket Bergamo (of which Ballarin, President of Europe Energy, holds the relative majority with 45% and which sponsors with 450 thousand euros per two-year period) and, still currently VR46 and some riders as personal sponsor. Europe Energy, therefore WithU, had also attempted to rescue women’s volleyball team in Bergamo, offering the same amount offered in basketball and looking for a partnership, never successful, with other entrepreneurs.

The company, founded in 2007, is headed by the holding Europe Energy Holding srl, controlled by the president Matteo Ballarin. It is located in San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona) and closed its financial statements at September 2020 with a turnover of 624 million euros, an ebitda of 18.7 million and a net debt of 46.3 million with operations mainly in Italy and in Eastern Europe.

In short, it is a company that moves capital but substantially, at a loss as  reports the  Leanus report published by Bebeez.

Ultimately, WithU, in short, applied for funding to advertise and buy sports teams.
Net of technicalities, parolisms and financial explanations, the gist is this.
Regardless of whether the writer or reader is a finance expert or not, a document (attached) is easy to read.

Press release Azimut_CS_Europe_Energy

In summary it says that

“Milan, July 26, 2021. Europe Energy, an international group active in the electricity and gas market specializing in trading, consulting and direct sales to end users, has obtained a direct loan of 5 million euros through the Azimut Direct platform , the
fintech of the Azimut group specialized in extraordinary finance for SMEs. The loan, signed by an institutional investor, has a duration of five years and is backed by the Italian Guarantee with coverage of 90% issued by Sace. ”

We are not the ones saying that the financing is used to make markeging and sponsorships but it is written in the same press release:

“The loan will be aimed at supporting marketing and communication investments, as well as the development of important product distribution technologies. The operation complements the 4.5 million loan from last September 2020, also concluded through Azimut Direct
(at the time Epic SIM).
Antonio Chicca, Managing Director of Azimut Direct: “Our goal is to bring new finance to SMEs by providing them with attention, quick responses and better access to the capital market. Building long-term relationships and supporting the growth of high-potential companies such as Europe Energy over time is a double result for us ”.

So the millions are 9.5 in two years, to buy, to put it simply, advertising.

Maybe it is a consolidated practice but it is important, for those who want to know who their interlocutor is, if they have never heard of it before, to know that an Italian company, an energy reseller, is asking for a loan to advertise.
Of the last 5 million, 2 million (it is said) will be employed to be the main sponsor of a company, Razali’s RNF, based in London.
The rest, evidently for marketing activities on other national media and for activities related to sponsorships. But in reality it could always be a flow linked to similar or less visible MotoGP activities.
In short, money that, theoretically, at least as far as racing is concerned, goes out of Italy.

In case there is any curiosity about Azumut Diretc, here is some information.
Azimut Direct (recent merger between Epic Sim and Azimut), is a company that has lent money to WithU, but also to Companies that produce Industrial Plants (CRS Impianti), companies that sell used cell phones (YouniteStars spa), and to Udinese Calcio (20 million euros, of which 15 million through a bond and another 5 million through a loan, both supported by the Sace Italian Guarantee, with a five-year duration and subscribed by institutional investors).
Azimut Direct also acts as an intermediary for direct lending loans (€ 2.5 million for Coopbox Group spa, a leader in Italy and Europe in the food packaging sector).

It is interesting that almost all the financed companies are on the second loan in a short time, both with Azimut or with Epic Sim, the name of the company before the merger with Azimut or with similar operations.

If anyone were to ask the meaning of the article, it’s easy:
Understanding whose money it is, where the money comes from, where the money goes.

WithU and RNF

(all’epoca Epic SIM).

VR46, possible announcement at Misano but there are worrying rumors!

Misano Gialla

Valentino Rossi does not care about MotoGP.
At least not about the one where he doesn’t race, and that’s normal.
After so many years, with a career end certainly not to be remembered, a child on the way and new car racing interests, it is understandable.
Valentino Rossi is a star, certainly not a second level personality capable of adapting to a supporting role.
Valentino Rossi is an athlete, a sportsman, and the fact that he quits MotoGP certainly doesn’t mean that he has to stop being a protagonist.
He is on his way to being in cars and whatever else he will do, without necessarily getting tired as in the last 20 years.

Rossi has the press on his side, then he has the fans and has all the deserved attention from a system that has revolved around him for years.
The role of team manager requires work, hours as an entrepreneur, responsibility and a lot of presence behind the scenes. It is not for him and he explicitly stated so.

Everyone who is close to him knows this too. The academy, the ranch and all the young riders he put on the track are something incredible and commendable, initially served to give him stimuli and motivation. Now, however, the whole mechanism must go on alone.
Rossi’s luck is that there are a lot of collaborators who can pick up the toy. The bad luck is that not everyone is able to handle it properly.
The story of Tanal, the Prince, the fake architect, the fantastic cities, and all those sponsors that then vanished, between never completed projects and non-existent companies (it does not matter that the press does not talk about it) are proof of this.
A colossal fool that would have made anyone the funny target of the media. Not Valentino who, after being spared by the press, called himself out and declared that it was not his problem, reproaching those who persisted in insisting on certain issues. Amazing enough for something that still bears his name.
In short, Valentino Rossi is not interested in the future of VR46 after his retirement, Luca Marini included. He did what he could but he can’t work miracles.
Rossi has left behind him a structure, a brand, some money, and a signed contract, but someone will have to walk alone and will have to make do.

And if at the end of October no official announcement was made, as far as the team is concerned, it means that there are problems.
Seven months have flown by waiting for the Saudis, complete with fairings covered with stickers of non-existent and most likely non-paying companies.
And now it’s late. There is a contract with Ducati but to race the Italian bikes, even two and in the 2021 version, money is required.
The 5 million from Dorna are not enough and without the 90 million of Tanal the matter becomes serious.

The latest news seeing WithU on Yamaha with Razali, is the latest blow.
The energy company puts about 2 million euros and there are no other resources to distribute. No sponsor fragmentation like last year.
For this reason VR46 has to look for other aids. There may be SKY but it is not clear if it is enough.
There are 4 teams to cover. The Moto3 team, the Moto2 team, a second Moto2 team made with Yamaha, and the team of Marini and Bezzecchi.
All interesting projects but Valentino may not even be on the track and has declared his lack of interest and this does not help money collection.
For this reason either Misano will be the site of a definitive announcement of the VR46 or the problem is big.
So big that rumors come from some insiders.
Considering impossible the most daring ones that see Rossi giving up even the MotoGP (two slots have been booked on the grid and the prestige of the VR46 is at stake), there are some that see VR46, given the lack of funds, settle for two second class Ducatis, and others that even see VR46 giving up Ducati in favor of Yamaha.
This would allow Razali to make the leap in quality and VR46 to remain “in the family” with reduced costs.
For Marini and Bezzecchi, certainly not first-class riders, it wouldn’t change much, but for those who have to take the money, instead, it would.
With Ezpeleta’s money and a pool of minor sponsors, two Ducatis or two Yamahas can be bought.
We’ll see if this weekend brings one of these emergency solutions or VR will be able, as usual, to get the rabbit out of the hat.

In the meantime, the press, like time, forgives everything, without even the time having elapsed. And the Rossi Week End, VR’s farewell weekend at home, lends itself extraordinarily to distracting attention, even if sooner or later it will be necessary to face reality.

SKY rinnova e salva VR46 e WithU. Yamaha salva SRT.

Secondo alcuni dovrebbe supportare l’ex team Petronas e Dovizioso mentre secondo altri dovrebbe seguire VR46.

A WithU interessava un pilota ITALIANO appartenente all’Accademy.
