MotoGP: Galbusera torna, con Vinales. A galla disperazione e vecchie bugie!

Silvano Galbusera

May be an image of 2 people and beard

Superbike, Estoril: all for Rea. Ducati self-defeating, Yamaha asleep!

Rea Estoril Win

The second day of the Estoril race sees staged replica
of the Ducati humiliation that occurred in MotoGp, with the aggravating factor that it starts earlier, it's double and it affects a bit of everyone other than Rea.

Indeed, at a track favorable to the Reds, the gifts to the opponents began as early as the superpole race, won by Rea, ahead of Razgatlioglu, Redding, Gerloff, Rinaldi, Lowes, Sykes, Laverty and Davies. And when you're working hard to get your opponent on the podium step every time, it's hard to play something big then.

Rea, Davies, Razgatlioglu, Lowes, Locatelli, Van Der Mark, Bautista, Sykes, Laverty, and Rabat round out the ten.

The chronicle of the race is also useless here, because what speaks for itself is the top ten at the finish.
The Ducati begin to trash another world championship and bring home a positive result only with Davies, who, however, one must be honest, has the only virtue in always believing in it. It is not enough to make up for the leftovers of those who fall in front of him or the predestined who do not materialize.
Yamaha themselves are black belts of waste. Razgatlioglu never brings home what he should while Gerloff always appears too aggressive.
But for that matter, there is no laughing matter at BMW either, where Van Der Mark is not playing anything serious and where Sykes has to scramble for the very private Laverty.
And Honda? As in MotoGP it lives a drama, as Bautista struggles against the windmills of bad qualifying and gearbox problems, and 75% of the time he lays down to make those comebacks that, as a professional, he demands of himself. Haslam is there punching the clock. Have you seen him in the race, you?

It really is a bad Superbike, which only intellectual dishonesty or partisan interests can get away with calling spectacular.
The screw-ups are the stuff of Paperissima and clip shows, not something to enjoy.
Professionals, on the track and at the wall, there are few, and only one is a full package.

Report cards

Rea
Already he is strong, consistent, and always a step above.
Give him gifts, too, when he's not at the top, and it goes the way of the last six years.
Rated 10

Davies
He always believes, and always tries.
Who knows if he still believes he has a package that is in any way comparable to the official one, and that he can really play something apart from doing better than Redding, the only striking achievement apparently within his reach.
Rated 8.5

Razgatlioglu
Wasteful Turk. Spectacular, impetuous, aggressive, yet so frothy in the reckoning. He places, he contends, but today he should have won. Instead he throws it all away with a jump start.
Rated 7.5

Lowes
Every time his job is to make everyone understand that the Kawasaki doesn't ride itself and is worth as much as he is, not as much as his partner is worth.
Rated 6.5

Locatelli
I was ready to criticize that, okay, get the bike to the top ten finish line, but you need a progression.
Here I am being served. To Locatelli only applause.
Rated 8.5

Van Der Mark
The world proclamations attributed to BMW at the beginning of the season usually make people laugh after four to five races. This year they started making people laugh as early as Aragon.
Rated 6

Bautista
This thing of starting almost last and finishing well is exciting but it risks wearing the rider down.
When you see what he tries to squeeze out of the turnip that is Honda, you realize how much he could have squeezed out of a Ducati had he been given another chance. Much to the chagrin of the rosy desmo and the loudmouth Redding, who eleven wins in a row will never see it.
Rated 7.5

Sykes
He should be doing better than his teammate, but instead the BMW paucity is engulfing him as well.
Rating 5.5

Laverty
With the most private BMW of the lot, the Irishman is waking up and starting to show some talent.
Rated 6.5

Rabat
Pretty sad to see him like this. But it's not like the Ducati trend is that much better. Let's wait.
Rated 6

MotoGP, Mugello. Quartararo indiscutibile davanti a Oliveira e Mir. Ducati bullizzata in casa. Che umiliazione!

Quartararo win

In the most boring race of the year, Quartararo and Yamaha teach an unforgettable lesson to so many loudmouths.
The Frenchman wins a la Lorenzo and kills a race, as well as his opponents, as we haven't seen them do in a tot.

But the real slaps are all cashed by Ducati , which on its home track takes a cosmic wake-up call of those to be long remembered.
Bastianini self-eliminates as the rookie he never seemed to be until now, Marini grazes light years from reality, and Miller plays soldier's slap not making time to turn around to see where every slap he takes comes from. Not to mention Bagnaia, the only hypothetical antagonist who goes belly up in the gravel at the start of it all.
But that's not even the pinnacle of horror, because the ugly part is that of a house that also brings Pirro reinforcement to the track, which is far from even the top speed proclamations ... smarmy who's got it the longest that, in a modern MotoGP , neither suffices nor is needed.

Taking pay from Suzuki, which has 20kmh less is very bad, but not even as bad as risking taking it from Aprilia, which so far from the feat, does not go there.
Not to mention KTM bullying the redhead at home and with the same weapons, used however with an extra thread, nay, ball of intelligence.
It's amazing how the potentially better bike, relies so heavily on muscularity, and also manages to lose.
Worse than Ducati is only Honda, which is as out of place on the grid as a lap dancer in church. They all lay down, from Marquez on down, and do the worst they can.

Of the race there is little to say, if even Rossi finishes tenth with six riders out in front of him. Bunch of them fall and now always the same ones.
To understand how it went, taking into account that, overtaking few few, it is enough to look at the top ten. More is not needed.

Quartararo, Oliveira, Mir, Zarco, Binder, MIller, Aleix Espargaro, Vinales, Petrucci, Rossi.

Estoril, gara1 SBK: vince Redding davanti a Razgatlioglu e Rea!

Scott Redding Estoril

Estoril goes without fanfare after qualifying divided in half between Rea and Redding, who share the sessions and the spotlight.
The race, on the other hand, is a bit different, as the Ducati man, while never saying goodbye to the company for good, is still uncatchable.
It's dull, race1, because there are only minor skirmishes behind, while up front only Rea, who makes a mistake early in the race and pays dearly for it, works to catch Redding and Razgatlioglu, but only manages to bother the Turk.
After the trio, only Gerloff who humiliates Rinaldi while still pushing back in the standings, notable is only the comeback of Bautista, who is still not competitive but can be seen to be putting in his best. And the others? Badly the BMW, bad the other greens, bad a little bit everyone, with really embarrassing detachments.
In short, the SBK world championship is divided into three. Three-four protagonists, four-five nice guys, and a dozen staggering zombies to follow.

Minicommentary of the race.
Rea starts badly and handles the start of the race even worse, making mistakes and giving in to Razgatlioglu and Rinaldi.
Redding and the Turk, they go on the run, but it is an escape on sight because, in fact, they will remain within reach of the defending champion.

In one lap Rea makes up for it on Rinaldi and goes for the two in front.
The race is boring and played out on the elastic of tenths between the top three while behind them Rinaldi, Lowes, Gerloff and Laverty but well spaced out... just as Sykes collapses and when shortly afterwards we also break Laverty's dreams in the gravel.
With ten to go Rea is getting closer to the leading duo, actually closer to Razgatlioglu than the latter is to Redding.
The race ends in a sprint for second place at least while Redding has more to be comfortable. Something that looks a lot like a close second.
Redding,Razgagtliolu, Rea, Gerloff, Rinaldi, Davies, VDMark, Bautista, Rabat, Locatelli, these are the 10.

Redding
He doesn't do anything wrong today. He doesn't win by force, but comnunque he wins. He needs these serene confirmations.

Razgagtliolu
He is always consistent but always lacks something.
He is consistent, though, and the Yamaha haven't played something in a long time since Iwata .
Rated 9.5

Rea
It sounds like a defeat-and it is. But Rea at Estoril had never been on the podium. Today, on the other hand, he's even playing for something more at times. He is a Rea who can be content.
Rated 8.5

Gerloff
He plays strong when he can but unfortunately pays dearly for his departure.
The way he gets rid of Rinaldi is a real bully. Pure talent.
Rated 8.5

Rinaldi
Finally the awakening. He must not forget, though, that he rides an official Ducati . To do what he did at Go Eleven, he could have stayed there.

Aragon, Gara2: Redding di coraggio e di fortuna, davanti a Rea. Pirelli? Oro nero!

Redding

Improved BMW, which insist but do not "consist," and vanished Yamaha (except Gerloff), there is not much else.

But the real havoc is at Ducati.
Redding gestures to the engineers for the second time in two races, and that means there is no trust between rider and team.
The bad part is that he is right. Because Rinaldi is taken out with rain and made to re-enter after one lap, and Davies before doing the same also manages to go on the ground.
If you say that in Bologna they can only win by luck, you are being mean but you are not going so far from reality. Impossible to deny the flashes of amateurism.

Perhaps on second thought there is a total winner: it's called Pirelli.
The tires are all good, even the ignored intermediates. And no one on the track can be said to be belittled except in cases of wicked choice.
Such a tire maker is black gold and should be carried in triumph.

Redding, Rea, Lowes, Sykes, VdMark, Razgatlioglu, Gerloff, Folger, Locatelli, Mahias.

Redding
Courage, chutzpah, and luck. He puts it all in and is rightly proud of it. Right the outburst, but with the team two talks must do it.
Rated 10

Rea
The fact that he is the predestined is seen when he does not go to the ground even after Gerloff enters. He does all the rest.
Of the rest, he is always there, while the luck of others, almost never.

The truth is that he would not get ahead of Rea even if Rea did not race. Yet he is strong. He almost seems to be in the world to make everyone understand Rea's value.

Rating 5

Locatelli

Supebike, Aragon race1: Stellar Rea against cosmic nothingness!

rea 100

Other than the laps removed by regulation. The Kawasaki should be taken out of gear.
With the aggravation that it's not even Rea alone anymore who's doing the heavy lifting but also Lowes, who when he's not messing around is strong for real. Although we all know that he is not consistent.

Behind them, cosmic nothingness with flashes of blue. That's what we're likely to see all season if the Ducati, inadequate today even with Davies, don't give themselves an absolute wake-up call. So many bikes on the track, and some even with the illusion of being official, are not needed.
It is not the greens that need to be downsized but it is the pack that needs to be shaken up.
Of the bad things in race1 we see a lot more.
There are the BMW that are only holding on (gasping) with Sykes, because the others are just starring in a horror movie. As soon as the Briton loses his patience, we will see some good things.
Japanese horror, on the other hand, for Honda. Qualifying is no use if you are inconsistent and inconclusive in the race.

Much applause at the triple-digit victory for the nord Irishman, who double Bayliss and Fogarty who, however, were battling on other scenarios, with other opponents and other packages.

Rea is yes a space pilot, but he is confronted with cosmic nothingness. Between satellites with very slow orbits and debris like the kind we now have littering space around the earth with, winning so much is a decidedly more possible feat.
Give them opponents, not accomplices to quota 100 from a pension perspective.
And thank you for castrating Superbike with the shears of regulatory and format choices that are as stupid as they come.

Microchronicle of the race
Those who had a good time mean that they help themselves to products, and it is time for them to explain which ones.
The race does not exist. Kawasakis fly and only Razgaglioglu offers the feeling that there is some war.
Never protagonists are the Ducati and everyone else, but at least the reds exist. The rest are unaccounted for.
You want the record, then: Rea leaves and on the last lap Lowes and Razgatlioglu battle a little bit. That's really all there is to it.
Rea makes 100 ahead of Lowes, Razgatlioglu, Redding, Davies, Sykes, Rinaldi, Haslam, Gerloff, Locatelli to close out the 10

VR46 MotoGP: that nuisance named Bastianini!

Bastianini

WARNING: EXPLICIT LYRICS. EXPLICIT CONTENT, DIRECT LANGUAGE AND HAIRY OPINIONS

In doubt already for a while VR46, the company and all the publishing that for years has been crawling in the presence of the most profitable package and with the most glaring team/media conflict of interest in the history of motorsport, is trying to take Morbidelli home after turning him around so that, like a magnet, he has opposed the pole of attraction with Petronas, with Yamaha and with Forcada. It serves to repel them. It serves to make the dream team, that is, a team that has the owner's brother in it and one that is really going strong. It needs Morbidelli, and it needs to get rid of Bastianini.

Those who write that the VR46 riders will be Marini and Bastianini are lying hoping to lie. That would not be such a good story to tell.

A self-respecting VR46 team cannot have in its lineup the living, winning demonstration that you don't have to be part of the Academy to play in the Motorcycle A Series. Bastianini is proof that you can make a career for yourself, early and well. What kind of VR46 team would it be if "typical products" were not fielded?

That is, assuming there aren't already problems for next year, because it's unclear what level of officialdom the VR46 team will be able to aspire to, especially when they manage to bring home the Morbido. And believe us, that is the intent and it is being worked on hard.
To figure out who pays and how much. And to be figured out when the money comes in.
For Ducati, you've seen it, there's a purely racing part and a commercial racing part, and in this case, it really doesn't matter where the money comes from, but the first one that comes in has always been the one that lodges the best.

Ottobre eh.
Basta stare un po’ attenti.

MotoGP, Le Mans: Miller e Zarco. Doppietta Ducati e Quartararo in testa al mondiale!

Jack Miller

In Le Mans, a most annoying place from the weather point of view, there goes the second day of Miller , who wins another one, but also the day of the Ducati, who all walk regardless of their starting positions.
However, it is also the day of Marc Marquez, who returns to a few laps in the lead but, above all, communicates that his mental attitude is the pre-crash one. He cares about going fast, he knows how to do it, and he accepts mistakes. As one who is no longer afraid to be glass. Whether this is a good thing is unclear, but it is certainly again his being MM93 that showed today.
From the standpoint of numbers, which are the ones that count in the end, Fabio Quartararo is a leader in the standings. He is not a quiet leader but he is a fair leader for what has been seen in these five races.
On the day of tumbles, we finally see Petrucci again, while those who go wrong are the Aprilia, unlucky, and the Petronas, disastrous. Morbidelli's fall fits, but Rossi's umpteenth via crucis does not. He starts in the 10, ends up outside despite the carnage of colleagues ahead of him. And that means only one thing. That it is an indefensible bad race.
Worse, if you consider the expectations, only the Suzuki did.
So much froth and smoke together had not been seen so often.

Side note: the frontrunners all seem to be friends again.
And that means only one thing: there is no clear and acknowledged claimant to the title. In that case all this goliardia, we would not see it.

Riuscirà a cadere ancora, definitivamente.

A meno 6 è preso e passato Quartararo mentre Miller pare inarrivabile.

Segue Quartararo, Bagnaia, Petrucci, Alex Marquez, Nakagami, Pol Espargaro, Lecuona e Vinales a chiudere i 10.

VR46: pilot and team, announcements coming soon!

VR46

MotoGP: why ARAMCO knows nothing about the partnership with VR46?

Aramco

Why did the news about the VR46 team fade as it jumped to the headlines?
How come VR declared the existence of an agreement to bring VR46 to MotoGP in partnership with Aramco but no one really asked the Saudi oil giant about it?
Indeed, how come the Saudi oil giant later and on its own initiative declared that it was unaware of the news?

The press release referred to stated that the project would be financed with money from Saudi Arabia, specifically from the interest of the oil giant Aramco, although the release itself came from Tanal Entertainment, a holding company owned by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Suad, a member of the Saudi royal family. So too big a name to be questioned ... but it is also true that we still start from the fact that someone is talking about Aramco but Aramco itself is not doing it. This is not normal.

A press release was issued ahead of the Jerez GP stating that VR46 team owned and operated by Valentino Rossi himself-would make the move to the full-time MotoGP World Championship in 2022. OK, that's fine. VR46 can announce whatever it wants.

In the end, what is missing in the statement are quotes from both sides in addition to financial details. This is unheard of for such a situation.
It's as if a yet-to-be-completed document has leaked out. Too bad, however, that it is not a leak because it was one of the parties involved that released and confirmed it.

All’estero, però.

"Especially Aramco in recent years has supported many sports other than soccer and is also very much in motorsport. It also supports Formula 1. It is an important partner for us and can help us team up in MotoGP." Rossi said.
But does Rossi know who he is about to deal with?
More importantly: does Aramco know that it has an ongoing partnership with Rossi?
The answer would seem to be a double no.
What if instead someone is trying to cheat the parties involved?
Come on, that's not possible...but here, stop it!
You know all those activities listed on the sidelines, but not too much either, of the partnership between VR46 and Tanal, the ones that talk about building projects, theme parks, etc.?
Maybe it all starts from there.
