Bagnaia, Mir, Miller, Marquez, Zarco, Pol Espargaro, Martin, Rins, Bastianini, Binder, se non cambia qualcosa in classifica.
Ducati campione del mondo costruttori.

When I was in the Navy I learned that a drop of oil can pollute the entire water supply of a ship.
It’s one of the first things they tell you. And there is no way to remedy it. The water is no longer drinkable.
For news mixed with bullshit there is the same risk even if you can always try to separate one from the other.
Going by order, the story that Petronas would have left Yamaha and MotoGP due to the quarrels between a woman and Razali, is bullshit.
Maybe this also happened, but the reason why Petronas gave up Yamaha is another.
Until things went well and Petronas fought for the world championship with Morbidelli and showed results worthy of the brand, similar to those of F1, everything went smoothly. After all, the declarations at the end 2020 were belligerent.
But the second season was very far from expectations.
Even Walkabout Oil would have been dissatisfied with the fact that a lot of negative visibility was created around a project that went so badly that it had an anti overexposure. It is the truth. Rossi and Morbidelli, the all-time champion and the world runner-up: a disaster.
Razali paid for this and it is evident that while all this was happening he may also have had some trouble with some connecting element of the sponsor company. No wonder, but that was a consequence, not a cause. Clearly Razali can't go around saying that he argued with Petronas because his team's was indecent and he handled things badly.
It is not true that Petronas has left MotoGP, and it is also not true that he is rushing en masse with his management to Portimao to finish a mega
agreement. Petronas is already the official supplier of Moto2 and Moto3 and therefore on the verge of a renewal.
It’s also not true that Petronas is putting pressure on Honda to give his money away. Never happened that a sponsor puts pressure to sponsor someone because it would mean playing up against itself. And then there is still Repsol. Market competition is okay but there is a gentlemen agreement between oilmen.
The truth is that Repsol, a company with almost local interests (Iberian peninsula and a bit of South America) and three times smaller than Petronas, is out in MotoGP and in the Trial, where it sponsors, once again, Spanish companies.
According to some rumors, he also tried to renegotiate the contract with HRC, but that is not exactly the problem.
Repsol’s business plans reflect the European situation. Many car manufacturers will soon no longer produce thermal engines, in some countries they will not even be on sale soon, and therefore Repsol, which sells fuels in Europe with 6000 service stations and 5 refineries all in Spain, has different prices. Electricity, biofuels, etc. Repsol is about to do exactly like Total Elf. This starts as early as 2050. It seems far away but there are fewer seasons to go than we think about the technical deadline. Industrial reconversions and budgets come a long time in advance, and so do the company strategies.
It is not true that Asian oilmen and Arabs land en masse for some mysterious reason. Asians and Arabs land en masse because it is from them that oil is sold and in fact, someone will have noticed, the championships are moving eastwards even physically.
In a world of scarcely credible sponsors based on scarcely credible projects and increasingly linked to suspicious maneuvers, we end up marveling at those who do things according to market logic.
Why should a local company like Repsol continue to promote its image as an oil tanker in a Europe that has declared war on oil?
At the right times the big farewell will finally happen.
Why shouldn’t Arabs and Asians arrive in MotoGP and F1 given that we are racing more and more eastwards, including Saudi Arabia, and fossil fuels are still being sold in the east?
One should be surprised at the contrary.
And if anyone wants some numerical details and some more data, well just consult Decalspotters
As for the partnership between Honda and Petronas, if Repsol were to come out, it could also happen.
There is no story other than inventing one to click, because there is no struggle when there are different interests.
The real struggle is not about who to sponsor, but about what and for which market.
Honda HRC is very important, but only with a fit Marquez.
Dorna’s sponsorship is very important, but only if it concerns the championship as a whole.
A little less so is some other second tier teams, such as VR46.
There is no pressure, no struggle. There has never been a fight to give money to those in need like Dorna and the MotoGP teams.
Among oilmen, they will all come to an agreement sharing the cake, like almost friends.
When I was in the Navy, I learned that one drop of oil is capable of polluting the entire water supply of a ship.
That's one of the first things they tell you. And there is no way to remedy it. The water is no longer potable.
For news mixed with bullshit there is this risk although you can always try to separate one from the other.
Going in order, the story that Petronas would leave Yamaha and MotoGP because of arguments between a woman and Razali is bullshit.
Maybe that happened too, but the reason why Petronas quit Yamaha, is something else.
As long as things went well and Petronas played for the world championship with Morbidelli and showed results worthy of the brand, similar to F1, everything went smoothly. After all, the statements at the end of 2020 were belligerent.
But the second season fell far short of expectations.
Even Viterbese Petroli would have been displeased with the fact that a lot of negative visibility was created around a project that went so badly that it had anti overexposure. It's the truth. Rossi and Morbidelli, the all-time champion and the vice world champion: a disaster.
He paid Razali and it is clear that while all this was going on he may also have had some spat with some connecting element of the sponsoring company. No wonder, but that was a consequence, not a cause. Clearly Razali can't go around saying that he argued with Petronas because his team's performance was indecent and he mismanaged things.
It is also not true that Petronas is putting pressure on Honda to give it its money. You have never seen a sponsor putting pressure to sponsor anyone because it would mean playing upward against itself. And then there is still Repsol. Okay market competition but there is a gentlemen's agreement between Oilers.

Among oilmen, they will all agree by sharing the pie, as almost friends.
They write VR46 TEAM, should we all read Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna)?
This is what happened to Valentino Rossis MotoGP team even before it made its debut, indeed, even before finding a concrete configuration, or perhaps perhaps precisely for not having found it until now ... and we're talking about money.
By now, most will have noticed some key statements made by some key people, regarding the activities within Valentino's .
The last to speak was Pablo Nieto, never heard on the subject until recently, who is evidently promoted to the role of spokesperson while for Uccio Salucci officially Team Principal, after the clumsy attempt to follow the organizational part with a lot of fool with Tanal , a return to the role of VR companion in his future automotive adventures is announced. And therefore much less presence in the paddock, for him.
This configuration would have begun to take shape already after the surreal press conference of the Prince, after the two payment deadlines missed in the maddening waitingce for the 90 million and the other farce of the open doors event in the Saudi residence, in fact never opened as it was probably the result of somebody's
It is from that moment that VR, surprising more than a few interlocutors, has begun to repeatedly declare that the team does not concern him, even going so far as to reply angrily, asking the press, always all friendly, not to deal with the matter with him anymore. Even if the MotoGP team is goint to bear his name
Now there is only the VR brand remained
A VR46 brand in the world is necessary, for all the merits that Valentino has.
In truth, a Valentino who is always present in flesh and blood would also be needed but, in fact, he cannot be forced to be a non-participating showcase man. Rossi has a family, a baby on the way, and four-wheeled projects to devote himself to. He can go to some races to sign some autographs but he certainly cannot be put at the wall to unravel the daily hassles of a working team manager. He doesn’t feel like it. Not him.
The team would have been a gift to his entourage, to ensure that people close to him had a real job but the beneficiaries were not able to make the most of the opportunity. Ok the Moto3 and Moto2 teams when things went automatically and VR was still present but MotoGP is a game for adults and the results were seen even before starting.
The fool with Aramco inconveniently bothered or burned too prematurely, followed by the Tanal hoax and the whole ridiculous circus of non-existent characters, projects and companies have given a good blow to a VR46 management that management has never been. It is not enough to be friends with the boss to have business management skills and everyone has noticed this. A bit like there will be a difference between selling, as VR46 apparel, Valentino’s and Vinales’ t-shirts.
For this Pablo Nieto appeared.
Why Nieto and in what role
Pablo Nieto is not by chance in VR46. Decent (nothing more) rider of the 125 class and soon passed on the other side of the wall (we are talking about 2008-2009). Son of the legend Angel Nieto, cousin of Fonsi, has a long history as a trusted man by Carmelo Ezpeleta, a longtime family friend, and his career began with a “friendly” project.
Anyone who remembers the Onde 2000 team (Sete Gibernau drove) knows that his start was not the most fortunate. Owned by Francisco Hernando, friend of Carmelo Ezpeleta known as “El Pocero”, a much discussed Spanish character “and for this reason he quickly expatriated from the Iberian country to go and build elsewhere, the team, after a 2008 in 125 with Pablo Nieto and Raffaele De Rosa , landed in MotoGP on the wrong foot and then revealed anything but solid foundations.
It should have been sponsored by the government of Equatorial Guinea due to a building project on site but then the project turned out to be smoky (the famous “Empresas Zombi” of Pocero) and it would have been necessary to remove the logo of the country of reference.
The motorbikes, without logo, would then take the colors of the flag (white red and green for the fairings and blue in the front) and then return to the original classic version (white and black) with the manufacturer’s name as sponsor instead of that of the project.
In short, something critical. After a few races on a Desmosedici, the shutdown, and Gibernau on foot forever until his return to MotoE in 2019. These are the beginnings of Pablo Nieto as team manager, reported not to define his responsibilities or abilities (he also obtained important results with Vinales and VR46) as well as to circumscribe his proximity to Dorna and Ezpeleta also by virtue of his illustrious descent.
Nieto is one of those who knows what to do in mangy situations and who, above all, knows what to say. One who does not take dangerous initiatives, indeed he does not take any at all and who, for this reason, can be trusted.

The bad rumors popping up
In the last few days the rumors that see VR46 MotoGP not with Ducati but with Yamaha or at least in close negotiations with the Japanese and Jarvis, whose son, after having worked for years in VR46 now manages what will be the future Yamaha Mastercamp team Moto2, are on.
The matter, surprising as it may be, does not necessarily have to do with the agreement signed some time ago, the one in which Dall’Igna, Ezpeleta and Salucci appeared in the photo. Ducati has a 3-year contract with VR46 for motorcycles and the agreement requires Bologna to be paid for those.
If there were not the money they needed, in Bologna they would be forced, in spite of themselves, to give the bikes (one of which is a factory, moreover) to other interlocutors but in Ducati on the financial theme they are still guaranteed and for this reason, that whether they are or not, they say they are secured. On Thursday there was a technical meeting that clarified some organizational details and referred to the mechanics staff, but not which sponsor will be. It is curious but this is the case. Ducati does not care who will pay them for the bikes and where they will find the money.
Also for this reason, however, rumors of a support for Bastianini would have emerged that he would find himself deserving more, the bike of Marini, if things did not go. Although Ducati reiterates that Basstianini will not have a 2022, the rumors remain. They are just rumors, it is clear, but if it is true that Don Carmelo takes everything in hand, they find meaning.
I pay, I decide
This is what anyone would say, including Carmelo Ezpeleta, called to relive, once again, the dejavu of having someone to help every year.
If previously the fact of having 8 Ducatis on the track would have been a matter to suffer (each customer chooses the bikes he prefers, if he pays them), with a different situation, perhaps it is better to try to rebalance the grid.
Two Yamahas instead of two Ducatis would be a perfect rebalancing of the forces on the field and would cost even less.
To Dovizioso an official bike, and for Binder who cares, and the Marini-Bezzecchi duo, the current bikes of Razali’s team which, among other things, according to other rumors, has a future, beyond 2022, which is anything but guaranteed. All at a much lower cost than two reds, one of which is factory ’22.
Giving it to Bastianini would make everyone happy. And having two trusted Yamaha customers in case Razali jumped would make everyone more relaxed.
When could all this happen? Most likely from 2023 but some say even earlier.
Under these conditions, perhaps it is true that Aramco is “back” in the game and at this point nobody lies.
They don’t lie in VR46 and those of Aramco don’t lie either.
The first, starting with the spokesman Pablo Nieto, would be reassured by Don Carmelo. And the oilmen would have recently been triggered by the latter.
But more than getting back into the game, it’s about getting into the game, for the first time.
Because it is one thing if you are put in the game without your knowledge by a fake architect or a bankrupted team manager from Terni and then you have to talk to someone in shorts, another thing is if the contact comes from Dorna in person, perhaps through Stefano Domenicali, a friend of Ezpeleta and great boss of Formula 1, a championship in which Aramco already has a role.
The fact that Aramco enters as a sponsor of the championship and also ends up saving the a team is a separate matter.
What you have to look at is not what Aramco decides to do but the door through which he chooses to enter.
It is one thing to enter with the Dorna endorsement, it is quite another to go and do the sponsor on two motorbikes that risk being nothing more than Cinderellas.
Aramco can buy MotoGP with money coming from employee meal vouchers. Nobody believes that as an unfulfilled dream it has to end up on the fairing of the most “recommended” rider in the history of motorcycles.
Fortunately, these are just blogger arguments. Which are already something, since the professional sector press is busy pretending nothing is happening.
The truth, whatever it happens, will come out in Valencia, but we are already in overtime.

Team VR46: Ducati rumors worried about a possible scam. A rescue press conference on Wednesday?

Darla a Bastianini farebbe tutti contenti.

Misano was not the expected Italian happy ending for the VR46 package, either directly or indirectly.
Valentino Rossi started last and finished in the top ten. All in all, an acceptable result given the season, but certainly not one of those expected until recently when it came to a decent home farewell to his longtime career.
Bad also Bagnaia, considered as the flag of the Academy, on the ground to resist a Marquez who won the race in the home of others on a circuit that by conformation should have said no.
It did not go well even for the rest of the Valentno boys who did not shine in either Moto2 or Moto3, where a former VR46, Dennis Foggia, won his race.
The results of Morbidelli, 14th and Marini 9th and humiliated by his teammate Bastianini, which feeds controversy over the bikes that will be assigned to the two in 2022 (Marini the factory and Bastianini an old bike), close the weekend, but it is not over yet.
The thing that should worry, even if hardly anyone talks about it, is the failure to announce the sponsor of Valentino's MotoGP team, on which a dangerous silence has fallen for months.
It is not clear why it was a non-organizational or financial figure who broke it, but a technician, a figure who until now had never expressed himself on issues of this type, or perhaps this is a signal.
There are some certainties in the team: The riders will be Marini and Bezzecchi, while the historical employees of VR (Munoz, Flamigni, Gavira) are confirmed in their technical roles.
Who seems to be out of authority is Uccio Salucci who, apparently, will remain in the role most suited to him of Valentino’s Bottle & Towel Manager even in car racing. An accompanying role that, plausibly, prevents him from pursuing commercial agreements.
The most malicious will have thought that all this is due to the mess put up in recent months but Nieto’s tranquility seems to deny the rumors about the team that Valentino does not care about (he admitted this by declaring that the sponsorship problems do not concern him).
According to Pablo Nieto, in fact, the choice not to give news would be linked to the desire to better manage the last Italian VR race and otherwise everything would be fine with Aramco, despite the slowness of the evolution of the matter.
“As you know, we have made this deal with Aramco in the past. Things are going very, very slowly, but they are on the right track.”
And still:
"This is the most important thing and, at the moment, the thing I can tell you is that we are working on it. There are some delays, but we are on the right track and we are still working on it."
So after months the oil sponsor reappears, despite the official and repeated denials of its press office (Brunswick has repeatedly written to this website as well) and of its CEO who has spoken in first person publicly.
It is bad to use the term "liar" but someone is not telling the truth, because if things were to be as the Spaniard says, it would mean that Aramco has been denying something for which he was negotiating for months. Aramco has not released "no comment" but has categorically denied any past and present negotiations with VR46.
If, on the other hand, things were as described by Aramco, it would be someone from VR46 who made the mental films.
The surprising thing, however, is not so much pulling in a sponsor who has always denied it, but deliberately choosing to ignore the fact that for 6 months and for about 4,000 published articles, we have put up with the ridiculous intentions of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his advisor Architect (later revealed to be non-architect) Marco Bernardini, and the elusive Tanal Entertainment Sport and Media.
The triptych became the protagonist of Press releases for events that never happened (Fantastic Trophy), never created situations (construction of motorcycles), non-existent company headquarters (photoshopped buildings), never registered trademarks, and unreal press conference, all without concludeing anything.
We can report here the links of everything that has been declared but things do not change because nothing has ever really happened as it is a hoax carried on for months.
From the doors of the Prince’s residence that had to be opened to the press, to the races in the desert, to electric motorcycles, up to the repeated deadlines that were not met, everything was simply an invention.
The 90 million for the 5 years did not arrive, but not even the 18 million for the next season.
In April-May, the clarifications on the VR46 MotoGP team seemed imminent.
Aramco had even disappeared from journalistic reasoning, replaced by Tanal who still appears on Marini’s Moto2 and MotoGP along with other NON-EXISTING companies such as brands, offices and activities, while now it seems normal that the he news arrives at the end of the season. Yet another deadline.
And none of the insiders dare to ask anything about something that has been talked about for months, that is, and we repeat it, Tanal, the Prince, a councilor who was everywhere, and dozens of projects that turned out to be bogus.
A stage made up of liars, sleepy amateurs, incompetent, hustlers and cowards who do not have the courage to ask a question despite their professional ethics should force it on them.
Then we will do it: Tanal, the Prince and the Councilor, what happened to them?
And who lies between Aramco who says they are not involved and VR46 who instead says that everything is okay with the oil giant?
Fans who watch this show, who pay to watch MotoGP on TV, who click on sites or buy magazines, can draw their own conclusions about the people they give their money to.

Team VR46: Ducati rumors worried about a possible scam. A rescue press conference on Wednesday?
It is unclear why it was not an organizational or financial figure who broke it, but a technician, a figure who until now had never spoken out on such matters, or perhaps this is a sign.
According to Pablo Nieto, in fact, the decision not to give news would be linked to the desire to manage the last Italian VR race as best as possible, and otherwise everything would be fine with Aramco, despite the slow progress of the matter.
Also:
"This is the most important thing, and right now, the thing I can tell you is that we are working on it. There are some delays, but we are on the right track and we are still working on it."
So after months, the oil sponsor resurfaces, despite official and repeated denials by its press office (Brunswick has repeatedly denied it to this website as well) and its CEO who has spoken out publicly himself.
It is bad to use the term "liar" however, someone is not telling the truth, because if things were to be as the Spaniard says, it would mean that Aramco has been denying for months something for which it was in negotiations. Aramco did not issue "no comment" but instead categorically denied any past and present negotiations with VR46.
If, on the other hand, things were as described by Aramco, it would be someone from VR46 who was making mental movies.
What is astonishing, however, is not so much the bringing up of a sponsor who has always denied it, but deliberately choosing to ignore the fact that for 6 months and some 4,000 published articles, we have been grinning at the ridiculous intentions of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his advisor Architect (later revealed not to be an architect) Marco Bernardini, and the phantom Tanal Entertainment Sport and Media.
The triptych has been responsible for press releases for events that never happenedFantastic Trophy), situations never created (motorcycle construction),nonexistent corporate headquarters (photoshopped buildings), holding company trademarks never registered, and press conferences bordering on the surreal, without concluding anything.
We can report here the links of everything that was stated but things do not change because nothing ever really happened as it is a bluster carried on for months.
From the doors of the Prince's residence that were to be opened to the press, to races in the desert, to electric motorcycles, to repeated missed deadlines, everything was simply an invention.
And none of the insiders dares to ask anything about something that has been talked about for months, namely, and we repeat, Tanal, the Prince, an adviser who was everywhere, and dozens of projects that later turned out to be bogus.
A stage made up of liars, sleepy amateurs, incompetents, marketeers and wimps who do not have the courage to ask a question despite the fact that their professional ethics should dictate it.
I'll make it: what happened to Tanal, the Prince and the Counselor? And who is lying between Aramco who says they are not involved and VR46 who instead says everything is fine with the oil giant?

1 agosto 2021 Faccendieri, principi, petrolieri e aziende “sospette”: qualcuno sfrutta a sua insaputa VR46 e Valentino? I nuovi comunicati non convincono!
Eventually, in the resource war, the razali-Yamaha package made it first and won it- taking the WithU badge.
The energy company, which until last year had distributed its support on more fairings and more riders, well advised, has chosen to go all in as main sponsor on a team that is not of the highest level but still with high visibility.
To pay the price VR46, in contention and considered by many to have an advantage for the sponsorship, but which with its unstable situation in terms of structure, on the one hand it was not attractive for WithU and on the other, lacking a main sponsor, is still struggling with the completion of its programs.
For the more curious and analytical, however, perhaps it is useful to understand WithU’s financial background and how to access the resources it uses to sponsor its activities which are many and not only concern MotoGP but also Football (Monza), Basket Bergamo (of which Ballarin, President of Europe Energy, holds the relative majority with 45% and which sponsors with 450 thousand euros per two-year period) and, still currently VR46 and some riders as personal sponsor. Europe Energy, therefore WithU, had also attempted to rescue women’s volleyball team in Bergamo, offering the same amount offered in basketball and looking for a partnership, never successful, with other entrepreneurs.
The company, founded in 2007, is headed by the holding Europe Energy Holding srl, controlled by the president Matteo Ballarin. It is located in San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona) and closed its financial statements at September 2020 with a turnover of 624 million euros, an ebitda of 18.7 million and a net debt of 46.3 million with operations mainly in Italy and in Eastern Europe.
Ultimately, WithU, in short, applied for funding to advertise and buy sports teams.
Net of technicalities, parolisms and financial explanations, the gist is this.
Regardless of whether the writer or reader is a finance expert or not, a document (attached) is easy to read.
“Milan, July 26, 2021. Europe Energy, an international group active in the electricity and gas market specializing in trading, consulting and direct sales to end users, has obtained a direct loan of 5 million euros through the Azimut Direct platform , the
fintech of the Azimut group specialized in extraordinary finance for SMEs. The loan, signed by an institutional investor, has a duration of five years and is backed by the Italian Guarantee with coverage of 90% issued by Sace. ”
We are not the ones saying that the financing is used to make markeging and sponsorships but it is written in the same press release:
“The loan will be aimed at supporting marketing and communication investments, as well as the development of important product distribution technologies. The operation complements the 4.5 million loan from last September 2020, also concluded through Azimut Direct
(at the time Epic SIM).
Antonio Chicca, Managing Director of Azimut Direct: “Our goal is to bring new finance to SMEs by providing them with attention, quick responses and better access to the capital market. Building long-term relationships and supporting the growth of high-potential companies such as Europe Energy over time is a double result for us ”.
So the millions are 9.5 in two years, to buy, to put it simply, advertising.
Maybe it is a consolidated practice but it is important, for those who want to know who their interlocutor is, if they have never heard of it before, to know that an Italian company, an energy reseller, is asking for a loan to advertise.
Of the last 5 million, 2 million (it is said) will be employed to be the main sponsor of a company, Razali’s RNF, based in London.
The rest, evidently for marketing activities on other national media and for activities related to sponsorships. But in reality it could always be a flow linked to similar or less visible MotoGP activities.
In short, money that, theoretically, at least as far as racing is concerned, goes out of Italy.
In case there is any curiosity about Azumut Diretc, here is some information.
Azimut Direct (recent merger between Epic Sim and Azimut), is a company that has lent money to WithU, but also to Companies that produce Industrial Plants (CRS Impianti), companies that sell used cell phones (YouniteStars spa), and to Udinese Calcio (20 million euros, of which 15 million through a bond and another 5 million through a loan, both supported by the Sace Italian Guarantee, with a five-year duration and subscribed by institutional investors).
Azimut Direct also acts as an intermediary for direct lending loans (€ 2.5 million for Coopbox Group spa, a leader in Italy and Europe in the food packaging sector).
It is interesting that almost all the financed companies are on the second loan in a short time, both with Azimut or with Epic Sim, the name of the company before the merger with Azimut or with similar operations.
If anyone were to ask the meaning of the article, it’s easy:
Understanding whose money it is, where the money comes from, where the money goes.
(all’epoca Epic SIM).
A noi saperlo apprezzare e sfruttare.
Mini cronaca
Bagnaia, Miller, Marquez, Oliveira, Pol Espargaro, Marini Lecuona e Rins a chiudere i 10.
Marquez, Pol Espargaro, Bastianini, Quartararo, Zarco,Rins Aleix Espargaro, Vinales, Marini, e Rossi a chiudere i 10!
Voto 7,5
