Misano non è stato il lieto fine Italiano atteso, per il pacchetto VR46, né direttamente, né indirettamente.
Valentino Rossi è partito ultimo e ha terminato in top ten. Un risultato tutto sommato accettabile vista la stagione, ma di certo non di quelli attesi fino a poco tempo fa quando si parlava di addio casalingo dignitoso alla carriera.
Male anche Bagnaia, alfiere quotato dell’Accademy, in terra per resistere ad un Marquez che si è aggiudicato la gara in casa d’altri su un circuito che per conformazione avrebbe dovuto dirgl di no.
Non è andata bene nemmeno un po’ anche per il resto dei Valentno boys che non hanno brillato né in Moto2, né in Moto3, dove ha vinto un ex VR46, Dennis Foggia.
I risultati di Morbidelli, 14° e Marini 9° e umiliato dal suo compagno di squadra Bastianini, cosa che alimenta polemiche sulle moto che ai due verranno assegnate nel 2022 (a Marini la factory e a Bastianini una moto vecchia), chiudono il week end, ma non finisce qui.
La cosa che dovrebbe preoccupare, anche se non ne parla quasi nessuno, è il mancato annuncio sullo sponsor del team MotoGP di Valentino, su cui per mesi è piombato un silenzio pericoloso.

I più maligni avranno pensato che tutto ciò sia dovuto al pasticcio messo su negli ultimi mesi ma la tranquillità di Nieto sembra smentire le voci sul team del quale a Valentino non interessa nulla (lo ha ammesso dichiarando che i problemi di sponsorizzazione non lo riguardano).

Aramco era addirittura scomparsa dai ragionamenti giornalistici, sostituita da Tanal che compare ancora sulle moto2 e sulla MotoGP di Marini insieme ad altre aziende INESISTENTI come brand, sedi e attività, mentre adesso sembra normale che le news arrivino a fine campionato. Un’ennesima scadenza.
