New Class in Superbike and goodbye Supersport 300! Confirmation of a preview!

On December 28, 2022, I gave a sneak peek involving World Superbike. It could, indeed should, disappear the never-loved Supersport 300 in favor of a new class better suited to prepare the pious for Supersport and Superbike. I had given details. Today comes the time for confirmation of the anticipation, with the addition of a few details and a few corrections.

Here is the "old" article. I don't deny it but it's time to give some more news and "adjust the focus."

KTM ERETION: What about Marquez, Redbull, Acosta? All the elements of the scenario to better understand!

Honda would seem doomed, or not, if it will put certain values on the field. But who are the parties involved?
After the video focus on Honda, it's time to analyze who are the ones from KTM and Redbull , Gas Gas and why Marquez might choose to change and at what cost to everyone. Then, ok there are also other issues such as Gas Gas, Miller and Acosta, but they are minor characters/elements of the story.
The situation seems to be evolving very quickly and for Honda it seems to be getting very bad, given the latest events!

MotoGP, Assen: 1-2 Ducati with Bagnaia and Bezzecchi! Aprilia podium, by regulation!

Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, A.Espargaro, Binder (penalizzato last minute), Martin, A.Marquez, Marini, Nakagami, Morbidelli, A.Fernandez.

Honda Suicide. Here's how and why Marquez might leave!

Before we understand what Marquez will do, and how, it is important to understand why! The Honda HRC disaster is not just MotoGP. There is every reason to want to escape from Honda because Honda is not an end point but something to escape from. And it does not only apply to Marquez.
The Mugello meeting spoke clearly and sent strong signals!

MotoGP: Game Over and you already know who won, too!

Sachsenring MotoGP: WDW goes on tour: 8 bikes in the top ten!

A dull race masquerading as an interesting race is staged in Germany.
To Martin and Pramac (very good and impeccable) the double content of the one-two, but only a deluded person thinks there is still a world championship up for grabs.

Martin, Bagnaia, Zarco, Bezzecchi, Marini, Miller, Alex Marquez, Bastianini, Di Giannantonio, Oliveira.
This top ten should be enough to understand that the world championship is not only over but we already know who has won.
Barring catastrophes or special trauma situations, everything is already decided and there is no point in kidding ourselves.
A Ducati will win, with merit, clearly, since the others are asleep, it will obviously be a factory and since Bastianini is out of the picture Bagnaia will win again.
The only alternative, called Brad Binder (or alternatively Jack Miller), is called KTM and is mixed in a number of Ducati that will make any alternative impossible. If last year Bagnaia needed the fleet to protect him from Quartararo, this year he does not even need that. The comprimari customers will get a few contentions and that will be fine.
All while Marquez raises a white flag that is actually a black flag for Honda and Quartararo makes foolish choices (the soft tire) to hope for some abnormal butt-splitting variant (cit) that will somehow save the day.
Honda should be charged with grievous bodily harm and attempted murder, Yamaha with failure to supervise, and Aprilia woke up all sweaty after concessions ended.
Yes, today's race was enjoyable but the world championship is over and MotoGP is at the end of its empire.
Prove me wrong.

Other than Bobbi and Valsecchi! The elegant hatred forMarquez!

They (rightly) suspended Bobbi and Valsecchi for an ugly but nevertheless single and occasional outing, but something much more devious has been going on for years now!
But what do Valsecchi and Bobbi have to do with the matter concerning them?
You will find out in this video here in which I show you all the full mechanics!

A paradox that was unthinkable until a few years ago is now realized in three versions chasing each other! Can you solve this problem?

What helmet are you talking about? The non-story of Acosta's helmet change!

Of all the important things to talk about, one came up that does not exist.
Not that the rules don't make sense and that the rules shouldn't be enforced but-if the rule isn't there, what was violated? In the end they all did well, even those who appealed, except the organizer, despite there being nothing he really should have done...maybe!

Mugello MotoGP 2023 turns into WDW: Bagnaia unreachable!

A cross between WDW and the Ducati Riding Experience is staged at Mugello , and Bagnaia does Bautista by winning two comfortable races that look like outings. The difference is that there are no Yamaha or Kawasaki behind but only other Ducati. Ed boring, but not because of the color of who wins!

"Bello il Mugello pieno" (which is not true and you can look at the photos posted on the Misterhelmet channel) is the phrase that all the riders, at least the Italian ones, are forced to say because they must have been told that otherwise Mugello is skipping, as if Mugello on the calendar can be saved by saying things that are not true.
And the response to the riders' contract phrase is something resembling "yes that beautiful crowd of the last few years" ... in a lie belied by the empty grandstands (except the Ducati one) and deserted lawns. Uriminzokkiri-style shots, the nord Korean Propaganda office, do not resolve the situation except for those who have personal gain in believing in it. But I would end it here because if they want to keep an agonizing Mugello on the calendar it is their problem alone.
135,000 spectators are declared for theend but until yesterday there was an echo in the valley and we are not kidding ourselves.
Then it is clear that under the podium fills up if you open everything and if you push people there, instead of blocking them as in past years that you had to stop them. No point in pushing it.

What about the race?
The race doesn't exist. Bagnaia leaves, unbeatable today, and the race of holds up with the duel for the third step of the podium. Injured Martini has to give up but first regulates the two Marquez , who among other things self-eliminate.
Marc has to force everything on the Honda, Alex wants to fight with Marini on a bike he may not yet manage.
But in the standings, just look at the top ten, it speaks volumes: Bagnaia, Martin, Zarco, Marini, Binder, Espargaro, Miller, Bezzecchi, Bastianini, Morbidelli.
It means that Bagnaia is the strongest Ducatista but that this is not Superbike. Here Ducati is unrivaled as a bike and only those who ride one can win, of course if the factory allows them to do so.
The fault does not lie with Ducati but with those who are unable to counter it however the show is lacking and it is lacking even among non-Ducatists because between aerodynamics and regulations the riders do not know how to behave and bring home an overtake without getting a penalty.
Analyzing the race doesn't help. Ducati wins and the others all lose. Six ducati in the 10 (it would have been 7 without Alex Marquez's crash) has only one meaning. Aprilia and KTM pick up the crumbs, Honda and Yamaha not even that.
Look at the end of Quartararo, out of the 10 and 20 seconds behind, and tell me if this placing reflects the value of the rider. One who by now is so fed up that he even ends up behind Morbidelli, who tries hard but is useless.
If this is being negative and pessimistic, I am pessimistic. You, however, look at the final standings with times and gaps and prove me wrong. Then watch the race again and tell me if MotoGP is a healthy championship. Only a Ducati fan can be happy, and rightly so, but the show is something else.
