Magny Cours: gara1 a Razgatlioglu davanti a Rea. Meraviglia Locatelli!

Razgatlioglu

Razgatlioglu
Il più forte, il più in forma. Al momento, il più tutto.
Incluso lo stoppie all’arrivo. Mai visto.
Voto 10

Rea

In BMW stiano tranquilli.
Voto 6,5

Bautista

Superbike, Most: Redding vince gara2, poi Razgatloglu. Rea incassa colpi pesanti!

Redding Most

Ah, la top ten all’arrivo: Redding, Razgatlioglu, Rea, Locatelli, Rinaldi, Lowes, VDMark, Gerloff, Sykes, Bautista.

Pagelline
Redding

Most gli piace? Non lo sappiamo ma va alla grande.
Voto 8,5

Rinaldi

Razgatlioglu batte Redding! Rea out e più vicino agli inseguitori!

Razgatlioglu Most

Razgatlioglu, Redding, Locatelli, Rinaldi, Bassani, Gerloff, Bautista, Haslam, Sykes e Fritz.

Redding, Razgatlioglu, Locatelli, Rinaldi, Bassani, Gerloff, Bautista, Haslam, Sykes e Fritz, wild card su Yamaha Yart, che precede proprio Rea caduto.

Razgatlioglu, Redding, Locatelli, Rinaldi, Bassani, Gerloff, Bautista, Haslam, Sykes e Fritz.

L’americano è buono a tratti. A tratti valido, a tratti spento.

Meglio di Haslam ma appena appena. Quanta voglia avrà ancora lo spagnolo? Sembra ancora interessato a lottare ma quanto durerà?
Voto 6

Haslam

Assen, Race2: Rea wins the Loca game and takes the lead!

Rea Assen 2

Race 2 has only one emotion. The countdown featuring Rea in his hunt for Locatelli, positive hero of the day. That Johnny has to win, it is known, but everyone watches the Italian rookie's race greedily., hoping for someone to turn the tables even though they know it will not happen
Negative hero, on the other hand, Garret Gerloff, who pays dearly in the media for a normal race mistake by mistakenly pulling down the very colleague at the moment most beloved as Rea's only antagonist, that Razgatlioglu who sees a summit that until Saturday was his receding.
Crucified the American, who instead makes a normal mistake, however heavy, and should instead be evaluated for what he does right, every time.
Useless the rest, because Redding does not close any gap and all the others do nothing much. He saves himself, at least this time, Alvaro Bautista, who finishes a race and finishes it well., while Davies becomes aware that the podiums and victories he promised himself at the beginning of the championship are in danger of being a mirage.
With Rea the default ruler and Locatelli the revelation, we have to be content.

Race mini-report.
At the start of Race2 in the lead goes Locatelli after Gerloff touches Razgatlioglu and knocks him out.
He is followed by Rinaldi, then Lowes, Redding, Van Der Mark and Rea favanti to Sykes, Davies, Bautista and Mercado who rounds out the ten.

The race slides on the comeback of Rea who comes in behind Locatelli while behind him theAruba Ducati cancel out and allow Davies to arrive.
At minus 10 Locatelli is caught and later also passed by Redding. The Bergamasque, however, does not give up and still tries to get in on Redding.
As Sykes cancels out and Rinaldi plummets to eighth, race two at Assen ends in which Rea easily wins his third race in two days.
Rea, Redding, Locatelli, Davies, Bautista, Van Der Mark, Lowes, Rinaldi, Bassani and Haslam round out the ten.

Assen: still Rea ahead of Redding and Razgatlioglu. The rest is boredom!

Minicommentary of the race.
On super pole the result is this: Rea, Razgatlioglu, Redding, Rinaldi, Lowes, Folger, Locatelli, Haslam, Van Der Mark, Bautista.
NQ Sykes and Gerloff...

At the start the strong ones in the first corners are Razgatlioglu and Rinaldi.
Very bad Davies, who finds himself 20th until Bautista makes a hell of a flight. He also goes out immediately Lowes and then Rinaldi in the same corner as Bautista.
Astonishing, clearly also thanks to the many outs, is Locatelli who is fourth in a fight with Van der Mark...while scary Gerloff who started last finds himself in eighth position.
In the middle of the race the real duel is between Redding and Razgatlioglu, which favors Rea's stretching, by now ahead by almost a second.
Folger goes out and there is concern. Red flag and race over.
Some comeback is interrupted but, this much is certain, it all goes as it shouldRea, Redding, Razgatlioglu, Van Der Mark, Locatelli, Gerloff, Sykes, Haslam, Davies, Bassani.

Carlos Checa: 10-year title interview. Pebbles from the boot and advice for Ducati and WSBK!

In the end Carlos Checa is always a gentleman but that doesn't mean that he doesn't feel like saying things.

"Ducati didn't believe in this bike and left us alone, but we won anyway. Maybe I could have won that world championship even a year earlier in the factory team, if they had believed in it, but that's okay too."
It is an awareness that has matured over time, that of the only Spaniard to have won a Superbike world championship, who must have understood how things were turning after watching them cold and from a distance, also helped by the events that followed.

He is an analyst, "El toro." And from him come a couple of boulders on Ducati and World Superbike.
In the interview you will find the answers to the questions:

How come Superbike is in decline?
What are the culprits?
Who are Jonathan Rea 's heirs and how come the nord Irishman killed Superbike?
Who is the right factory rider for Ducati MotoGP?
What should be done to solve Ducati's problems?

But if you think Carlos is the rider who lends himself to controversy and gets manipulated just because it is easy to get flattered and carried away on his party day, you are wrong.
The recipe for Ducati, he has it: a good one has to try it but ... not him. In short, totally out of sync with the scattershot shooters that are so handy for today's click-catchers.
Perhaps that is why Carlos Checa is old school, in a good way, and it is also why perhaps, in a world that has forgotten the real things, he and his team were the last to win in a certain way.

Donington, Gara2: Razgatlioglu domina, Gerloff e Sykes sul podio. Rea si annulla, Ducati lontane!

Razgatlioglu2

Race 2 at Donington is boring from a technical standpoint but marks a turning point in the standings.
Jonathan Rea is no longer the fittest man in the circus. There is one confirmed star and his name is Razgatlioglu. Regardless of how it will end, right now the Turk is the iron man. And he doesn't even need to weigh it because it is the others who are stepping aside.
Also entering the elite is Gerloff and BMW , which, albeit momentarily and thanks to Sykes, sees some light.
Total darkness, however, for Ducati. So dark that the Bolognese should run in black livery. It's not so much the losing, which is scandalous, when the surrender effect that is in the air. There are too many races left to live it down so badly to the end. And while Rea is starting to suffer from the greed of not wanting to understand that he cannot always be first, others with the suffering have never stopped. Honda continues to gasp and the rest of the grid is virtually nonexistent. It's a world championship made up of six bikes, only a couple of which are capable of winning.

Mini Chronicle
At the start in the lead remains Rea but it is Razgatlioglu who starts as only he knows how to do, sgomitanto immediately with Sykes and Haslam, now former hosts. Redding is also incisive, in the 10 hoping he doesn't overdo it like in recent outings.
On the third lap Razgatlioglu is ready to thread Rea through. He does it comfortably and already takes a few meters.
After seven laps, it's still all the same up front while Haslam has collapsed, now a top ten risk.
On lap 12, hanging Rea goes out and restarts 20th.
With Razgatlioglu on the run and Gerloff firmly second, a duel for third place begins between Sykes and Redding that ends after two corners. The Ducati man catches up but makes a mistake and has to give up.

Razgatlioglu, Gerloff, Sykes, Redding, Van der Mark, Lowes, Davies, Rinaldi, Haslam Bautista.
It ends like this.

Report cards

Razgatlioglu
He is the one who has the most, strong with the renewal and the confidence everyone has in him. That in himself, however, never lacked. A champion on and off the track. At the moment, no one is like him.
Rated 10

Gerloff
He has patience and reaps the rewards. If someone would explain to him well that there is a future as a star for him, maybe he would waste less.
Or maybe not-but that's okay.
Rated 9.5

Sykes
He deserves the podium and more. He is the one who puts a patch on BMW 's shortcomings that seem to lie more in management than in the technical means. Sykes is always positive and reaps deserved rewards.
Rated 9.5

Redding
Positive race but not as a title contender. It is clear, however, that it is really Ducati that is lost here.
Rated 8

Van der Mark
He is one of those guys who can win at Donington. Yet he is not even a shadow of his teammate.
Rated 6

Lowes
You have to knock out Rea, greedy, to see Lowes first Kawasaki to the finish line.
Rated 6.5

Davies
I think it's clear by now that he doesn't have the package to win, partly because Ducati is lacking here in general.
Rated 6.5

Rinaldi
Undergoes and disappears--on the fringes of the top ten. The lights of Misano are now out.
Rated 5.5

Haslam
Strong at the start then wanes. Honda wanes and he also wanes who physically doesn't seem to be at his best.
Rating 5.5

Bautista
As above. Technical and physical suffering. Maybe Honda is really asking too much of his people.

Superbike, Donington: Razgatlioglu rides like he stole it. Rea beaten, Ducati buried!

Razgatlioglu

Pista leopardata, gara incidentata.

A seguire Sykes, Haslam, Lowes, Gerloff, Mahias, Bassanini e Locatelli a chiudere i dieci.

Riprende comnunque abbondantemente in top ten.
Finisce così: Razgatlioglu, Rea, Lowes, Sykes, Van Der Mark, Haslam, Gerloff,Bautista, Mahias, Bassani a chiudere i 10

Razgatlioglu
He drives like he stole it and makes it clear that in Yamaha they have to do what he says. And thank him.
He will close the race on lap 1.5. You may as well go to the beach.

Sofuoglu e Razgatlioglu: altrimenti ci arrabbiamo!

This introduction to point out a couple of details.
1) Sofuoglu 's riders talk little and he talks little himself.
2) Sofuoglu has clear ideas and does not waste time in tiresome negotiations.

For Razgatlioglu, following Kawasaki's snub of the 8h of Suzuka, there was packing in the direction of Yamaha.
It was already clear to the Turk and his manager that the Provec team would never allow the youngster to express himself so as not to damage the balance with Rea. Decision made in 2 days, zero journalistic wittering and deal done.
Off to the fly to the house of tuning forks where things don't work out, however.

The bike doesn't work, the team doesn't work, and the plans don't coincide with what the good Kenan has in mind: to win the Superbike world championship and go to MotoGP through the front door.

Paul Denning's Superbike team is not up to the task, the bike is not good enough to win, and even in MotoGP Petronas is not the right place for Toprak Razgatlioglu. It is really Yamaha that is undecided. It is not good.

Minicommentary of the race
At the start Rinaldi starts well but the mistake comes in two corners.
Rea is ahead even though on the straights the Ducati is overpowering.
What Rea gains in the mixed, the Italian gains on the long ones.

Razgatlioglu
Finally wins one. Doesn't waste and understands how and when to try. Perfect race.
Rated 9.5

Rinaldi
Sunday is not always Sunday either. He can still say he is satisfied.
The fact remains that by managing better he would have won this one as well.
But that's okay too.

Rea
He puts another patch on it and still it's a better third place than the other two of theend, because at least he fights a little bit.
The truth is that after realizing that this is not his weekend, he does what a world champion has to do.
Rated 8.5

Redding
It's not clear what there is to celebrate. He takes 9 seconds and at moments has to handle Gerloff as well. Plus he complains about meaningless things like weight. His problems are other, like that he too often takes slaps. It just changes who gives them to him.
Rated 6.5

Gerloff
It doesn't look like one of those fine races he has accustomed us to, instead his is a proba of maturity and intelligence, after the surely unnecessary zeros of previous rounds.
Rated 7

Lowes
Increasingly anonymous. Distant and anonymous.
Rated 6.5

Bassani
Best Rookie and Best Independent. OK he's home, however, there's cause for celebration. Without getting big-headed...but it's a top race.
Rated 8

Bautista
He gets a full sufficiency because with him Honda is already much better than BMW. As Haslam slumps, he grows. Slowly, but he grows.
Rated 7

Locatelli
Another good race by Locatelli. Quiet, few fumbles, well assisted.
Rated 7.5

Van der Mark
Needless to rage. A very good bike mismanaged and poorly developed.
