Razgatlioglu, chiude il week end portoghese con una doppietta ed una sola “sbavatura”: la Superpole Race persa per soli 3 millesimi a favore di un Bulega che è l’unico avversario plausibile. Lo è anche in gara2 nonostante il disturbo di Bautista. Gli altri prendono distacchi “ferroviari”.

Si torna alle top ten normali dopo una Superpole Race che normale non è stata, considerando la vittoria (da parte di Bulega) con il margine più piccolo di tutta la storia della Superbike. Tre millesimi su Razgatlioglu ma tanto è, perché il turco è tornato a martellare in Gara2 come ha fatto in Gara1. Non con lo stesso distacco ma di sicuro con la stessa sicurezza e la stessa superiorità.
The Ducati of Bulega (who is a rookie) and defending champion Bautista, nothing could, as could the others, who, however, in addition also cashed in seconds at will.
A slightly disappointing (and certainly also dissatisfied) Petrucci, coming in after Rea (surprising), Van Der Mark (on the rise) and Vierge (also improving on the Honda), the ternano at least takes home the independent riders' title, after his team (i.e., also him) just yesterday secured the team victory. Not bad. Petrucci talks little and works a lot. In Jerez, he might even get another satisfaction out of it.
Keep in mind, though, it is all far and blurry. From the top three on the podium, there are seconds by the handful and top ten or top 15, in fact, means nothing at all.
The Turk is up 46 and therefore not arithmetically champion, though.
Ducati needs to find a solution soon, though, with a view to 2025.
