CLICKBAITER ATTACK ME: I DON'T TAKE LESSONS!

For the umpteenth time I have highlighted yet another piece of content that IN MY OPINION is clickbait, or clickbait. Some people did not like it and I was attacked on my page. It is time to give some explanation and some evidence

It is the case to talk about the attack I received from clickbaiters, which is like the revenge of the Sith, however, it is funny.
I don't know if you know but in addition to news, opinion and previews I fight a losing war against clickbait and fake news. Someone among those I mention got a little annoyed and came to stamp his little feet on my page. First, however, let's talk about what clickbait is.

It says wikipedia, not me, at this link: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clickbait

"Clickbait" (or clickbait in English) is a term for web content whose main function is to attract as many Internet users as possible in order to generate online advertising revenue.
Generally, clickbait makes use of catchy, sensationalist headlines that incite the user to click, appealing to the emotional aspect of those who access it. Its goal is to attract those who open these links to encourage them to share its content to increase its reach, through sharing on various social networks, thereby exponentially increasing its advertising revenue.
It is common on the part of many sites to make pseudo-information by narrating certain facts in an instrumental way, distorting their reality; to counter this phenomenon there are debunking sites where what is reported in these links is debunked, highlighting their lack of reliable information sources."

Let me be clear: I do not dispute the goal of getting clicks. Anyone who produces content does it to get viewed, even me. I do, however, contest what everyone is willing to do to get read.
I can try to make a more interesting headline but, if the news is not there, I cannot invent it, enrich it, sensationalize it for a benefit, otherwise I am not honest. I am not honest if the headline is not matched by real content or if the content is misleading or even, as we shall see, missing.

Back to us: on my page I often highlight clickbait headlines as they come to me on google or as I see them on social channels. In most cases you yourselves point them out to me. I'll put a few of them up for you.

Usually there is no reaction from those who produce them, but in this case it was different.

A me non importa.

Obviously criticized Mr. Russo continued to respond using Tuttomotoriweb's 12-year history, 50 million page views a year and 750 thousand facebook users, as a guarantee of information quality.
In the end I am clearly the envious one, the one who has time to waste criticizing a person who instead loaded with responsibility sends forth a most illustrious editorial staff that does journalism of the highest quality, as when news stories are relaunched a year later making them appear as new. For what purpose other than clickbait, no one knows. For Mr. Russo it is normal. That's fine.

However, I would like to show you some of this brilliant content, which according to me is clickbait while according to Mr. Antonio Russo, director of tuttomotoriweb, it is instead very followed and very normal journalism. You judge.

Marquez at dakar makes major announcement. That he is not going. He never planned to go, he was never scheduled to go, and it's not his sport.

Miller cambia sport? Non è vero, si allena semplicemente nel motocross. Come milioni di piloti.

Il sogno di Ciabatti e l’incubo degli avversari? Clicchi il pezzo e non c’è nessun sogno. Io non lo vedo a meno che non sia vincere.

Dove vive Marc Marquez? Rimarrete stupiti: vive a Madrid. Da un anno e mezzo.

It's not like he lives on stilts in rapa nui. YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!!!

Bautista ready for a revolution? Asks for fans' help.
The revolution is whether to adopt n1 or not. Revolution.

AMAZED, DREAM, REVOLUTION, SHOCK. Remember the sensationalism of terms for emotional purposes. These are the pieces I find on the homepage but I could go on for hours. Neither you nor I have free time, contrary to what Antonio Russo says.

However, I do not want to give up the main article, the real treat: How much does a set of tires cost in MotoGP: you will be amazed! It's not a normal cost. It's an Open Mouth cost. Kind of like when you go to the dentist and he says, "Open big."
But how much will a set of tires ever cost.

Here it is. It was pointed out to me by a team manager who said he was curious too, because he didn't know. WELL THIS INFORMATION IN THE PIECE IS NOT THERE. THE COST OF A SET OF TIRES IS NOT THERE. Isn't that clickbait, this, dear Antonio Russo editor of Tuttomotoriweb? What do we call it?

And now let's talk about how these articles are written.
For a news story that could be condensed into 5 ROWS, the pieces all average 5-6000 characters and start each time overnight.
These are the parameters for going into the range of google monetization and appearing on google discover, which is ideal for banner ads, popups, interstitials, page updates, i.e., all the tools TO MAKE MONEY TYPICAL of clickbait, including the minimum browsing time needed to be within the parameters.
Then, separately, we can talk about how these articles are not written but "generated," which ALWAYS have THE SAME MODULES.

For me, there is no problem. If Mr. Antonio Russo wants to run a click-catcher site, that's his business. But I have the right to detect it as often as I encounter it. IT'S CALLED THE RIGHT TO CRIME. And I also have the right to the analyze the truthfulness of the content, the presence or absence of the same, the discordance with the title, and the correspondence of the dates to which the facts refer with respect to the publication and the manner in which this content is proposed. And to make such other assessments as I see fit. This is called journalism. Even if Mr. Antonio Russo director of Tuttomotoriweb with 50 miliohi annual users and 750 thousand social users does not like it, because it does not generate enough money.
By the way. If these users Mr. Antonio Russo talks about are like the articles he writes on his site, they are the most different people I want to deal with, including him. They are in a galaxy far far away. I keep mine 100 times over.
