Marc misses, Alex wins, Quatararo surprises. Bagnaia ok, but something is missing!

Alex Marquez deservedly wins a race ahead of another great comeback, Fabio Quartararo. Bagnaia still on the podium, however, misses a penalty kick and misses an opportunity to erase the gap in the standings. In the championship Alex commands with 140 points, followed by Marc with 139, then Bagnaia with 120.

Alex Marquez deservedly wins a race ahead of another great comeback, Fabio Quartararo. Bagnaia still on the podium. Then Vinales, Di Giannantonio, Binder, Acosta, Ogura, Bastianini, Marini, Zarco, Marquez who gets 4 points, Rins, Espargaro wild card and Bezzecchi.

The race this time is not decided byMarquez, who falls when he is not even in front, but by his brother Alex, who goes in the lead and leaves behind both Quartararo (fantastic his comeback and excellent race starting from the pole) and especially Bagnaia, who wins, albeit at a distance the duel with Marc Marquez, but does not make the most of the opportunity to close the gap!

In the championship Alex commands with 140 points, followed by Marc with 139, then Bagnaia with 120.
If he had won, he would have changed the standings from the point of view of gaps and would have sent a very strong signal. Instead it only sends out a medium strong one because, even if the victory is missing, in case you hadn't realized, the championship is won with victories but even more so by always scoring as many points as possible, which Marquez doesn't seem to want to understand. Marc Marquez, as we have also said too many times, is the decision maker for better or worse and, paradoxically, he always "chooses" to fly when the stakes are the highest. The recovery of a few positions and points is meager consolation for someone who could do much much more.
This business that he controls is not exactly true and it is time to take it apart for good. Doesn't he exaggerate? It doesn't matter. It's not clear why it happens, though.

The rest of the race finds an incredible Yamaha again, at least with Quartararo, who is the real surprise of the w.e. . OK also Vinales, best of the orange ones, all in disarray except his own. Not the best day for the other Ducati with Aldeguer risking too much and Morbidelli under hospital observation. Diggia, on the other hand, is not bad. We expect him at the next ones.
Honda? Black and white. Those who try end up on the ground; the others, they pick up little.
Aprilia? Ogura is still the best. Bezzecchi is definitely insufficient and a bike swap, though impossible would be almost logical.

Tomorrow is the test.
Ducati and its people just have to figure out why it doesn't win absolutely everything. The others, however, just have to catch up.

Bad report on KTM being torn apart and in danger of having to sell MotoGP!

April 25: An extraordinary meeting of Pierer Mobility. which comes after the failure of proposed capital increases in April, after the loss of more than half of the company's capital stock, and with KTM production lines halted due to lack of liquidity. Meanwhile, in MotoGP: canceled wild cards, reduced testing, disgruntled riders. And the question now is no longer "what will be the future of KTM?" but rather: will KTM be able to finish the MotoGP season or will it even have to sell it? And to whom? If it all seems sudden to you, it is only because you do not follow Misterhelmet. We have been announcing, explaining, documenting this crisis for a year. Everything has come true. And everything keeps getting worse. And we do another Misterhelmet Report!

Let's talk about KTM, but we could say: let's do a "live autopsy" of a group that is taking itself apart piece by piece.
On April 25, today for those watching the video the first day, Pierer Mobility will hold an extraordinary meeting that has already lost much of its meaning,
because the measures that were supposed to save the day ... have been withdrawn.

Capital increases: failed attempt

On April 4, Pierer Mobility had announced a desperate plan: 150 million in cash capital increase, with subscription rights.
200 million in loans from Bajaj, to be converted into shares at 7.50 euros. It sounded like the plan of hope. It became waste paper at the start.
Neither the market nor small shareholders responded, and the legal risk associated with possible appeals did the rest. Result?
The measures were removed from the agenda of the April 25 shareholders' meeting. A rescue plan, in short, dead before it was born.

Capital halved, phantom budget

The problem remains: more than half of the registered capital has evaporated. The 2024 budget has been postponed because it can no longer close with guaranteed business continuity. And without a budget, without capital, without investors -- the whole group is walking in a vacuum.

Production: stalled for months, now suspended altogether

The real short-circuit, however, is industrial. Less than 4,000 motorcycles produced in early 2025. Production again suspended since April 28.
And the stated goal of 230,000 motorcycles by June-it's a laugh to keep from crying. Officially there is talk of a lack of components.
But the reality is that components have not been bought because money has been lacking for months. And let's not forget: there are still tens of thousands of unsold bikes in stock. So: produce what? Why? For whom? With what money?

MotoGP: a drained asset, in survival mode

And now we look at MotoGP.
It used to be the thing to save, the flagship to protect as the company crashed. Today it has become the thing to be sacrificed to try to save what's left of the company. And mind you: not only is it no longer ethical to continue racing with a failing company while workers and suppliers hang on, it is no longer even economically sustainable.
MotoGP is now the only jewel left in a rusting crown, the only asset with any value left, and therefore the most easily divested.
But it too is at risk, and it is not true that it goes on with "separate" funds or separate sponsors.
It is a fable. A comfortable fairy tale that no longer holds up today. And I will prove it to you.
The wild cards? Canceled. And not for technical reasons. The excuses are ridiculous and pathetic.
The tests? Reduced to the bone.
Beirer tells us that "the four official drivers test directly on the track." Sure, right. Fairy tales.

Meanwhile, the pilots start talking openly, and behind the scenes it's contract hunting. Acosta? It's already lost. But we make separate content on that. The real question is simple and uncomfortable: will KTM really finish the MotoGP season?
For me, if it gets there, it will be a zombie, although at MSMA meetings the Austrians pretend to be alive with constant protests and absurd claims.

Investors: just storytelling

The names aired in recent months? FountainVest invested elsewhere. CFMoto never showed up. Bajaj, while involved, has never stated that it will save KTM. If anything, it will buy the corpse a buck a kilo and tear it apart.
And BMW, perhaps interested--but only in grid slots, not in KTM as such.

What was supposed to be a rescue net turned out to be a cloud of communicative vapor.
Nothing but stories, communiqués, promises, and press from firefighters on the payroll.
Months of baloney by Stephen Pierer to kick the ball forward and not lose control of the corpse that has become his industry group.

The sales network is a company's calling card, and it is reduced to the state of commercial neglect, with desperate dealers now reduced to doing infomercials in which they try to give away motorcycles that no one wants.

April 25 assembly: without content

And so we come to the special assembly. Created to resolve, today it comes without its key points.
The cash increase is not happening. The conversion of loans into equity neither. And the real decisions -- they are postponed, again.

Conclusion - All confirmed. Again.

What everyone pretends to find out today, we have been telling on Misterhelmet for almost a year.
The financial crisis, the industrial crisis, the unbundling of activities, the MotoGPrisk...
Every piece has gone exactly where we predicted. We are not smarter.
We simply went to school, analyzed the data and didn't get bought off by 2-3 bikes on trial.
And today, while some people are surprised, we confirm, we verify, we document.
And we confirm again.

Pierer Mobility is technically stalled.
KTM is out of oxygen.
And MotoGP could lose another manufacturer--before the season is even over.

Bagnaia 's fake interview explained well and the war between firefighters and hairdressers!

The cliche is always the same. Bagnaia making heavy statements and then either they are not true or he was misunderstood or even the interviews are made up, with all the quotes. This time TNT Sport and other international newspapers are involved. Then there are the token firefighters and those who are gnawing because the role of firefighter was not theirs. We are talking about people who are black belts of minding their own business on command versus people who routinely do hairdresser journalism instead. Let me explain how it went, in my opinion!

The Marquez Code! Perfect in its imperfection! Here's how to decipher it.

Marc Marquez 's strength lies in the string of his achievements, a sequence however perfect. and in the keys to understanding the character, rider and man. Even when he seems unfinished,Marquez is annoyingly complete in his imperfection that both conquers and angers detractors, press and fans. Including Ducati itself, which is now addicted to him!

MotoGP: Marquez, despite damaged bike, wins again in Qatar ahead of Vinales (later penalized) and Bagnaia! Martin knocked out again in hospital!

Marc Marquez, despite the damaged bike, also wins the long race and goes to the top of the championship with 18 points on his brother and 30 on Bagnaia! A beautiful race, full of overtaking and twists and turns. Martin out and in the hospital again!

*Points will be 26 due to Vinales' penalty

Marc Marquez, Vinales, Bagnaia, Morbidelli, Zarco, Aldeguer, Alex Marquez, Quartararo, Acosta and Bezzecchi.
These are the 10 with the yellow penalty to Vinales (tire pressure) for a beautiful race with dozens of overtaking, duels and twists. The Spaniard will then be penalized 16 seconds and will find himself behind Bagnaia Morbidelli!
Marquez loses the lead at the third corner and waits to let loose first Morbidelli, then Bagnaia and then Vinales who stays in front until the last laps.
From there the Spaniard passes and begins to string together fast laps, some of them decidedly pointless, as is his style.
Coriaceo Vinales on KTM (he has also won here in the past), and also strong Morbidelli. The first half of the race he commands before switching off and yielding to Bagnaia, not without a duel.
Bagnaia's race? Solid, error-free and even aggressive at times. Making life difficult for him are Marquez, first, and Morbidelli, then. But the Piedmontese rider pulls through and despite wrapping up 4.5 seconds behind the winner, he is deservedly on the podium and still attached to the world championship train.
Bad weekend for Alex Marquez. First he hits his brother by breaking two fins (93 will still take the blame), then he gets a long lap penalty for irresponsible riding on Di Giannantonio, who gets a penalty for irresponsible riding on Mir He finishes seventh in an otherwise bungled podium race.
Even worse goes to Jorge Martin. He crashes and is hit by Di Giannantonio (16th at the end) and gets a ride to the hospital. For him bruises and a pneumothorax.
The list of good ones includes Johann Zarco, fifth and best Honda at the finish and Fermin Aldeguer, sixth after a really solid race.
Disappointing Acosta but never as much as Bastianini and Binder. Disappointing were the Yamaha Pramac of Miller, Rins and Fernandez. Only Quartararo is saved at Iwata .
Terrible once again the Honda and inconsistent Aprilia. At home VR, however, the glass is half full. Okay Morbidelli, bad Di Giannantonio.
The rest, not there. The championship rests on two riders but every time the twist is lurking. Another thing: there are no tracks favorable to one rider or the other.

Assen Superbike, Bulega: the strongest but not enough. Razgatlioglu and Locatelli also win!

    Misterhelmet Shop

Gara1
Bulega, Locatelli, Petrucci, Razgatlioglu, Lecuona, Vierge, Aegerter, Gardner, Van Der Mark, Redding.
Superpole Race
Razgatlioglu, Lowes, Bautista, Locatelli, Van Der Mark, Redding, Gardner, Montella, Mackenzie.
Gara2
Locatelli, Bautista, Gardner, Sam Lowes, Bassani, Alex Lowes, Lecuona, Razgatlioglu, Iannone, Aegerter

The Assen end offers 3 all in all spectacular races in which Bulega is superior despite collecting two zeros due to two different technical problems.
One could close the picture of the Assen Round here but, in the end, the Ducati man remains at the top of the championship with a much thinner haul than he would have deserved.

Reducing fuel flows works too much for BMW and nothing for Ducati. The first sessions see the Bologna bikes dominate but then, in the race, there is also and especially room for Yamaha, Bimota and Honda. In the end, red breaks aside, everyone has their visibility.
Do Bulega 's breaks prevent a hat trick? Maybe. But it will not always be possible to stop the Italian. Razgatlioglu has to bring home what he can, whenever he can. Spectacle is also about that.
