KTM: found the money? Here's what happens though!

The news that money would be found by the fateful deadline of May 23, has arrived, and Pierer Mobility itself says so. It's not a loan or even a gift, though. Here's what's going on, for better or worse!

After the reassurances of someone - saying "it's okay, guys, relax!" - today comes the bombshell:
PIERER Mobility AG: financing package for KTM restructuring secured!
But beware...don't rush to pop the bubbly!
The restructuring plans of KTM AG, KTM Components GmbH and KTM Forschungs & Entwicklungs GmbH will be able to yes, be realized... but only because the money for the May 23 deadline has been found.
On February 25, 2025, the creditors approved the plan with a 30 percent share, to be paid by-guess what? - May 23 itself.
Total to be raised? About 600 million euros..
And Pierer Mobility has announced that - provided everything is signed off as planned - the funding there is.
So is KTM safe?
No. È saved by the deadline of May 23.. Period.
Want to know the rest? Watch this video all the way through or read the piece.

In this 24th video on KTM, The first question I ask is why if KTM is safe and the situation is simple, why are those who went in front of the closed factory saying everything was fine and those others who used to work for a KTM site writing the very long articles to explain things?
What happened is this: Pierer Mobility found the money to plug the hole momentarily, or so it seems.

it says so here https://www.pierermobility.com/en/newsroom/eqsfeed/2990330?type=adhoc

As announced, on February 25, 2025, the creditors of KTM AG, KTM Components GmbH and KTM Forschungs & Entwicklungs GmbH approved a 30 percent share of the restructuring plan, payable by May 23, 2025. The total amount needed to finance the share under the three restructuring plans is about 600 million euros.
But beware-it is not a relaunch. It is a temporary parachute.
From May 24 onward, KTM , let's remember, has its production stopped - goes back to losing money. Or anyway, it doesn't collect any.
This 600 million, reportedly coming from Bajaj, completely changes the nature of the company.
In other words? KTM will no longer be the Austrian company we knew all champagne and waste.
It is about to become an Indian company.
And when I hear that "the Austrian government's concerns are fading" ... boh, I don't understand.
An Indian company invests 800 million in a collapsing company and ... leaves everything as it was?
Please.
It is much more likely that Bajaj will turn the investment into capital, increasing its control over KTM and scaling up Pierer's shares.
Because if it were a loan instead, KTM would find itself with another huge debt to repay. It would not make sense .
Among other things, there is also the matter of another loan, Zochling's 80 million loan from Remus, to be settled. Since the loan has expired , Zochling would like shares, as we said in the video below and in the article here.

So, beware: this injection stops the clock, but it does not restart the company.
E there is no business plan on the table. They will have to implement it and it will take more money. Who's going to put it in?
So what happens now? What happens is that as of this moment the Indians are in charge of Bajaj.
And they may change everything.

  • Manufacturing all in India to save waste and control everything

  • Many fewer models, especially large ones

  • Probable end of the brands Husqvarna and Gas Gas, or at least their sharp reduction

  • In Europe will remain: the design, the museum that it is forbidden to call a museum, a few representative offices ... and maybe the racing teams. So no more 7000 dependents as the Austrian government hopes, unless that was promised and I have not read that anywhere.
Going back to the racing team, beware: the teams, if they stay, will be managed much more rigidly.

Other than "we run races because we have fun"-the point is to win. The point will be to close the budget. So no more super hospitality, hundreds of people, everything new, everybody in business, everybody at the top. Especially in motogp.
What about MotoGP? Will it continue?

It is by no means certain that motogp will continue especially with a view to 2027.
KTM has always stopped racing when the regulations change. This has happened 15 times. Lhe racing team could even be spun off.
Become a separate thing. Under the KTMbrand-or not.
It could even be sold as a valuable asset. They themselves have been talking about this lately
What about the story that " Red Bullwas paying for everything"? Evidently it was not true or not 100 percent true. Maybe Red Bull takes everything and continues under its own name. We don't know. however, then someone has to make motorcycles.
In summary: Bajaj has plugged the urgent hole... but he didn't do it for charity. It is taking KTM.
And he's going to run it the way you run a business : without waste, and to make profits.
Eh but you saw misterhelmet that KTMn close, save and live. Okay. But what ktm will it be? Nn the one that has been until now.
Do you really think they put 600 million plus the others put before, to make a present? Do you still believe in Santa Claus?
You will see that once again, in the Pierer style, they told us things in half and then unveiled them little by little. They had denied even the crisis.

Tell me what you think.
I also look forward to seeing you in the live streams for insights.
May the information be with you.

Toprak dominatore meno qualcosa. Ottimi Bulega e Petrucci!

    Misterhelmet Shop

Gara1
Razgatlioglu, Bulega, Petrucci, Alex Lowes, Bautista, Sam Lowes, Lecuona, Montella, Vierge e Rea

Superpole Race
Razgatliotlu, Bulega, Petrucci, Sam Lowes, Bautista, Lecuona, Alex Lowes, Vierge, Locatelli e Rea

Gara2

Bulega, Razgatlioglu, Petrucci, Lowes, Gardner, Bassani, Lecuona, Montella, Locatelli, Gerloff

DI-SA-STRO-SO!

E Bagnaia ancora out.

KTM: brawl between managers. Who is suing whom? And why?

With disaster increasingly imminent, those who had put in money of their own are trying to get it back. Such is the case with Zochling, who wants his overdue loan back. And Pierer sues him. Who is Zochling. How much had he really put in, and why? How and why is he blocking everything? Why instead of him suing Pierer, the opposite happens?

Here we are again: while the rest of the world realizes that the deadline is coming for KTM and they are fighting, only we - here on Misterhelmet - have been telling you since June 2024 that we've been telling you about it. This is the 23rd video on the subject. And not counting the live, and video on MV Agusta, because the fates of the two companies are now linked. Because MV Agusta, and we will talk about this later, still carries the aftermath of the ill-fated acquisition by the Austrians.

Today, however, the situation has exceeded all limits: Stefan Pierer, the boss of KTM, has sued Stephan Zöchling. Yes, that's right Zöchling, chairman of Pierer Mobility's supervisory board and a member of Pierer Industrie's board of directors. But who is he really? No one explains it to you, I already told you who Zochling was, in this video here from February 20:

The sites owned by Pierer, namely Speedweek which is a real houseorgan, and then to follow GPOne, through Wiesinger who was the director of Speedweek for years, were talking about a loan of several hundred million. Now it turns out to be 80 and that's it. It was already making people laugh in February, the idea that Remus would save KTM with a few hundred million when it was 800 million short at the time. Now we find out that he put up 80 and he wants to inc****e it and it's even funnier, so to speak. Because thousands of families are involved.

That is, how it happened: Zöchling is the president of Remus, the muffler company that supplies car and motorcycle manufacturers, and who was a direct supplier to KTM for all the first exhaust system.

When KTM began to stagger, Zöchling said to himself: either I save it-and save my business too-or risk losing everything. So, in October 2024, he lends 80 million euros (not a few hundred) to Pierer Konzern Gesellschaft, in exchange for pledged shares of Pierer Industrie AG. Why? Because if KTM was saved, he was securing his future: a living customer, the gratitude of Pierer, maybe even the Austrian government. But if things had gone bad-at least he was taking home some shares, and watch out: Pierer Industrie is not only motorcycle, but also companies like Rosenbauer, the fire truck company bought in October when the situation was already desperate, and many others.

What about today? Things are bad. Very bad. In fact, they have been going bad for a year, only now you can't tell any more nonsense And so Zöchling does pretends to find out now that Pierer had not warned about Bajaj's right of first refusal so that he could ask for the money back from the overdue loan. An excuse, because, of Bajaj, everyone knew. But so now he claims the shares: either to sell them to Bajaj, or to break the game with BRP-Can Am (which, however, only wants technology assets, not shares), or - a more dangerous move - to try to scale Pierer Industrie himself..

And the amazing thing? That Pierer had put him there, on the board and as chairman of the supervisory body! He thought it was yet another puppet, but this time the puppet has come alive and is trying to fool him.

Meanwhile, the May 23 deadline, by which they need 600 million euros in order not to blow it all up. And while they bicker, the board is paralyzed because Zochling has significant clout on the board and the supervisory board.

And MotoGP? Increasingly hanging by a thread. 50 million euros a year to race, an unsustainable expense for a sinking company. So it wasn't even true that KTM racing was sustaining itself through sponsorship. Carmelo Ezpeleta knows this. And already there is talk in the paddock about who might take the 4 KTM seats on the grid .. Which then are 2, because 2 are Poncharal 's with Team Tech3, which if he wakes up tomorrow he can go with whoever he wants.

Pit Beirer. the man on Pierer's field, says they are looking for investors to save the MotoGP project, perhaps by making it semi-private. What that means, semi-private, no one knows. But who would get into such a venture, that is, saving a team that has no factory behind it? No one.

What about investors? Apollo? BlackRock? They were never really interested. Just names put there for show. It doesn't work that way.

I'll tell you another thing, mark it down: NO ONE IS THAT CRETENDED TO LEND MONEY TO A MORIBON. IT'S MUCH EASIER TO WAIT FOR HIM TO DIE AND TAKE EVERYTHING BY THE KILOGRAM. TECHNOLOGIES, GRID PLACES, ASSETS, EVERYTHING.

In fact BRP-the Can-Am Canadians-are watching from above, ready to take only what they really need: patents, technology, perhaps preparatory to the Rotax engines they already supply them with. Certainly not stocks. Assuming they are not yet another name dropped by Pierer as he has been doing for all things for months.

And here I come back to the key point, the most important concept: nothing has changed from a year ago. It's just that, in Pierer style, it was communicated little by little, so as not to collapse everything right away. But this was the reality for months. If you look at the contents of Misterhelmet, or even just the stock on the stock exchange, you will see that this was already the case. Just the same as it is now.

We are now approaching the Silverstoneweekend , May 22-25.. Mark these dates, because there may come the announcement that closes an era. Just as everyone is on the track.

So guys, stay here on Misterhelmet, because -if you want to know what's really going on, we've been telling it here for almost a year. Other people are getting it told a little bit at a time from Pierer 's sites and writing under dictation. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. Prove me otherwise.

Gara2
Bulega, Razgatlioglu, Bautista, Petrucci, Lowes, Lecuona, Vierge, Locatelli, Van Der Mark, Gardner, Lowes, Gerloff, Redding, Iannone, Bassani

Marc misses, Alex wins, Quatararo surprises. Bagnaia ok, but something is missing!

Alex Marquez deservedly wins a race ahead of another great comeback, Fabio Quartararo. Bagnaia still on the podium, however, misses a penalty kick and misses an opportunity to erase the gap in the standings. In the championship Alex commands with 140 points, followed by Marc with 139, then Bagnaia with 120.

Alex Marquez deservedly wins a race ahead of another great comeback, Fabio Quartararo. Bagnaia still on the podium. Then Vinales, Di Giannantonio, Binder, Acosta, Ogura, Bastianini, Marini, Zarco, Marquez who gets 4 points, Rins, Espargaro wild card and Bezzecchi.

The race this time is not decided byMarquez, who falls when he is not even in front, but by his brother Alex, who goes in the lead and leaves behind both Quartararo (fantastic his comeback and excellent race starting from the pole) and especially Bagnaia, who wins, albeit at a distance the duel with Marc Marquez, but does not make the most of the opportunity to close the gap!

In the championship Alex commands with 140 points, followed by Marc with 139, then Bagnaia with 120.
If he had won, he would have changed the standings from the point of view of gaps and would have sent a very strong signal. Instead it only sends out a medium strong one because, even if the victory is missing, in case you hadn't realized, the championship is won with victories but even more so by always scoring as many points as possible, which Marquez doesn't seem to want to understand. Marc Marquez, as we have also said too many times, is the decision maker for better or worse and, paradoxically, he always "chooses" to fly when the stakes are the highest. The recovery of a few positions and points is meager consolation for someone who could do much much more.
This business that he controls is not exactly true and it is time to take it apart for good. Doesn't he exaggerate? It doesn't matter. It's not clear why it happens, though.

The rest of the race finds an incredible Yamaha again, at least with Quartararo, who is the real surprise of the w.e. . OK also Vinales, best of the orange ones, all in disarray except his own. Not the best day for the other Ducati with Aldeguer risking too much and Morbidelli under hospital observation. Diggia, on the other hand, is not bad. We expect him at the next ones.
Honda? Black and white. Those who try end up on the ground; the others, they pick up little.
Aprilia? Ogura is still the best. Bezzecchi is definitely insufficient and a bike swap, though impossible would be almost logical.

Tomorrow is the test.
Ducati and its people just have to figure out why it doesn't win absolutely everything. The others, however, just have to catch up.

Bad report on KTM being torn apart and in danger of having to sell MotoGP!

April 25: An extraordinary meeting of Pierer Mobility. which comes after the failure of proposed capital increases in April, after the loss of more than half of the company's capital stock, and with KTM production lines halted due to lack of liquidity. Meanwhile, in MotoGP: canceled wild cards, reduced testing, disgruntled riders. And the question now is no longer "what will be the future of KTM?" but rather: will KTM be able to finish the MotoGP season or will it even have to sell it? And to whom? If it all seems sudden to you, it is only because you do not follow Misterhelmet. We have been announcing, explaining, documenting this crisis for a year. Everything has come true. And everything keeps getting worse. And we do another Misterhelmet Report!

Disclaimer.
If satisfaction appears, in video or articles, it is not because of the development of the story, which pains me, but because I have a clear conscience for having worked well and honestly.
I can only tell you to keep following Misterhelmet. All the documentation I am talking about can be found here: https://www.pierermobility.com/en/newsroom/ad-hoc-news

Let's talk about KTM, but we could say: let's do a "live autopsy" of a group that is taking itself apart piece by piece.
On April 25, today for those watching the video the first day, Pierer Mobility will hold an extraordinary meeting that has already lost much of its meaning,
because the measures that were supposed to save the day ... have been withdrawn.

Capital increases: failed attempt

On April 4, Pierer Mobility had announced a desperate plan: 150 million in cash capital increase, with subscription rights.
200 million in loans from Bajaj, to be converted into shares at 7.50 euros. It sounded like the plan of hope. It became waste paper at the start.
Neither the market nor small shareholders responded, and the legal risk associated with possible appeals did the rest. Result?
The measures were removed from the agenda of the April 25 shareholders' meeting. A rescue plan, in short, dead before it was born.

Capital halved, phantom budget

The problem remains: more than half of the registered capital has evaporated. The 2024 budget has been postponed because it can no longer close with guaranteed business continuity. And without a budget, without capital, without investors -- the whole group is walking in a vacuum.

Production: stalled for months, now suspended altogether

The real short-circuit, however, is industrial. Less than 4,000 motorcycles produced in early 2025. Production again suspended since April 28.
And the stated goal of 230,000 motorcycles by June-it's a laugh to keep from crying. Officially there is talk of a lack of components.
But the reality is that components have not been bought because money has been lacking for months. And let's not forget: there are still tens of thousands of unsold bikes in stock. So: produce what? Why? For whom? With what money?

MotoGP: a drained asset, in survival mode

And now we look at MotoGP.
It used to be the thing to save, the flagship to protect as the company crashed. Today it has become the thing to be sacrificed to try to save what's left of the company. And mind you: not only is it no longer ethical to continue racing with a failing company while workers and suppliers hang on, it is no longer even economically sustainable.
MotoGP is now the only jewel left in a rusting crown, the only asset with any value left, and therefore the most easily divested.
But it too is at risk, and it is not true that it goes on with "separate" funds or separate sponsors.
It is a fable. A comfortable fairy tale that no longer holds up today. And I will prove it to you.
The wild cards? Canceled. And not for technical reasons. The excuses are ridiculous and pathetic.
The tests? Reduced to the bone.
Beirer tells us that "the four official drivers test directly on the track." Sure, right. Fairy tales.

Meanwhile, the pilots start talking openly, and behind the scenes it's contract hunting. Acosta? It's already lost. But we make separate content on that. The real question is simple and uncomfortable: will KTM really finish the MotoGP season?
For me, if it gets there, it will be a zombie, although at MSMA meetings the Austrians pretend to be alive with constant protests and absurd claims.

Investors: just storytelling

The names aired in recent months? FountainVest invested elsewhere. CFMoto never showed up. Bajaj, while involved, has never stated that it will save KTM. If anything, it will buy the corpse a buck a kilo and tear it apart.
And BMW, perhaps interested--but only in grid slots, not in KTM as such.

What was supposed to be a rescue net turned out to be a cloud of communicative vapor.
Nothing but stories, communiqués, promises, and press from firefighters on the payroll.
Months of baloney by Stephen Pierer to kick the ball forward and not lose control of the corpse that has become his industry group.

The sales network is a company's calling card, and it is reduced to the state of commercial neglect, with desperate dealers now reduced to doing infomercials in which they try to give away motorcycles that no one wants.

April 25 assembly: without content

And so we come to the special assembly. Created to resolve, today it comes without its key points.
The cash increase is not happening. The conversion of loans into equity neither. And the real decisions -- they are postponed, again.

Conclusion - All confirmed. Again.

What everyone pretends to find out today, we have been telling on Misterhelmet for almost a year.
The financial crisis, the industrial crisis, the unbundling of activities, the MotoGPrisk...
Every piece has gone exactly where we predicted. We are not smarter.
We simply went to school, analyzed the data and didn't get bought off by 2-3 bikes on trial.
And today, while some people are surprised, we confirm, we verify, we document.
And we confirm again.

Pierer Mobility is technically stalled.
KTM is out of oxygen.
And MotoGP could lose another manufacturer--before the season is even over.

Bagnaia 's fake interview explained well and the war between firefighters and hairdressers!

The cliche is always the same. Bagnaia making heavy statements and then either they are not true or he was misunderstood or even the interviews are made up, with all the quotes. We are talking about people who are black belts of minding their own business on command versus people who routinely do hairdresser journalism instead. Let me explain how it went, in my opinion!

Even when he seems unfinished,Marquez is annoyingly complete in his imperfection that both conquers and angers detractors, press and fans. Including Ducati itself, which is now addicted to him!
