Ducati Band routs Sepang. Bagnaia wins, Enea doesn't even try. Quartararo third!

The world championship however already decided is arithmetically decided in Valencia. However, a race without tamed "Gubbio" is staged.

La gara c’è è non c’è, perché Bastianini arriva sotto le mura di un Bagnaia partito in modo perfetto, ma non ci prova nemmeno. Non si provi a prenderci in giro. Il piemontese non ha colpe ma oggi non è da vittoria e lo sanno tutti.
Il resto della gara non c’è. Quartararo fa una gran performance e ci mette del suo salendo sul podio, Espargaro non esiste e Marquez si affievolisce come da lui stesso previsto. Solite uscite quelle di Martin, imploso nella ghiaia e Zarco, disinnescato.
Note positive invece, di livello superiore, quelle di Rins ma soprattutto Bezzecchi, con Miller che si tiene lontano dal fuoco e forse fa bene così.
Curiosa la prestazione di Morbidelli che nell’unico week end in cui non è indecente, trova il modo di avere 2 long lap penalty, e nonostante questo fa meglio di tante altre volte, pur tirandosi fuori da qualsiasi gioco che conta.

In Ducati they will be convinced that they are wizards of strategy. Today's show is worth half a world championship, yes, but less, from the point of view of prestige and dignity. It's true that people forget and the albums speak, but some things are really hard blows to credibility to absorb.
We are not talking about the public but about investors and big players watching how tame or tameable the MotoGP world championship is or can be when needed!
In fact, there is no victory outburst, no wild celebration, no explosion of joy, anywhere, from the track down to the last of the operators in the pits, including the press.
The same commentary is embarrassed and justifies everything with pathos and tension but the realities is that everyone from the first to the last, know that a moreover useless combine was staged, because the world championship is still to be played in Valencia and because Bagnaia today could have had maybe 5 points less but still be deservedly ahead of Quartararo.

Reiterating so insistently that there were no stable orders, from the Box and the collaborating press, is proof that there is indeed a need to apologize for something indecent. Shame on executives, press, drivers and managers. More honest would be to say that there was a defense of a result, and avoid pissing on the public's head by telling them it's raining, scandalizing them for not believing it.
