Not Gonzalez, nor Toprak nor Miller but the first rider to have a Ducati contract guaranteed in 2024, after his signature at the beginning of the year. The Spaniard will have a GP24 and will be a teammate of Alex Marquez who has just renewed with a two-year contract.
This means that Valentino himself could have carried out a rescue operation for Franco Morbidelli giving up Aldeguer to save Franco otherwise without a bike for 2025.
The decision would have been made on Friday so it has nothing to do with Aldeguer’s victory at the Sachsenring, nor with the positive performance of Morbidelli who, however, could have been informed and could have had a nice injection of confidence and optimism!
Fermín Aldeguer Mengual, born in 2005, signed with Ducati even before the start of the 2024 season, after having won the last 4 races of the 2023 season in Moto2 astride a Boscoscuro, a bike he still rides and with which he is in fourth place in the general classification with 39 points behind Garcia, Ogura and Roberts due to a rather troubled start with only one victory and two podiums (before the one in Germany) but also two retirements and a performance without points.
Some criticism of “premature signing” towards the Spaniard who however responded with two important performances in the last two races and now goes on holiday already knowing what colors he will wear in 2025.
A curiosity: Aldeguer had his first world experience in MotoE, and is therefore a fairly anomalous case.
Another curiosity: Misterhelmet was the first to announce Aldeguer’s signing on January 13th and for this he received a watch as a gift from Aldeguer himself!
Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Bastianini, Morbidelli, Oliveira, Acosta, Bezzecchi, Binder, Fernandez a chiudere i 10.
Ecco i dettagli!
The contract of Sterlacchini, Head of Technology MotoGP KTM has not been renewed. The Italian will be replaced by Wolfgang Felber who will become VP Technology Road Racing.
KTM, through its manager Pit Beirer, suggests that the separation is consensual, amicable and makes affectionate declarations attributing the cause to the Italian technician’s homesickness, while insinuating that KTM did not want to renew its trust due to irreconcilable differences. At the same time, however, many allusions emerge by the usual KTM-friendly press which, as we know, doesn’t like to be left.
Instead, there is a version of the story that says that Fabiano Sterlacchini left by slamming the door. Here are the details!
Boscoscuro does not hide the dream of MotoGP and Liberty Media is about to open the grid to new F1-style factories. Here are all the details of a story that could come true with the new regulation but which has already begun and could involve important Italian companies, including MV Agusta which could finally have factory status!
Surprise interview with Maria Herrera, engaged with Forward in MotoE (together with Mantovani) and in the Women's World Championship in which she dominated in the first round in Misano, and Ramon Forcada, one of the most titled technicians in MotoGP, now engaged in MotoE, never afraid to say even direct and important things! Maria Herrera, bewitched after a Moto2 test, wants one and explains why, while Ramon Forcada, loaded to the gills tackles the topic of MotoE, the new MotoGP regulations, and Ducati supremacy as only a fearless veteran can. Plus we find out that he rides motorcycles more than Jorge Lorenzo (his words). A fluent but not even that fluent 20 minutes and lots of topics covered, straight from the Forward Klint hospitality at Assen MotoGP!
Bagnaia, Martin Bastianini, Marc Marquez*, Di Giannantonio, Vinales, Binder, Alex Marquez, Raul Fernandez, Morbidelli.

Tornerà in VR46 Pertamina?
